So Corker thinks this ad is “tacky” (duh..) but is powerless to take it off the air. Ken Mulner (sp) RNC head, says it’s ok but he would not be enpowered to take it off the air anyway. This despite the disclosure line that attributes the ad to the RNC.

That ad is colorblind. It has nothing to do with race, and it baffles me how anybody could see racism in it. I could care less who Harold Ford socializes with, but I care a lot about how he’d vote in Congress.

When Republicans act stupid there’s always the charge of hypocrisy. Why? Because Republicans have values to which they can be held accountable.

Ford’s mistake wasn’t the porn money. No one would ever have called him on that. It was claiming to have conservative values. They never can quite pull that off. Remember Dean’s bike path? Kerry’s Cathlocism? Bill’s big Bible? It always comes back to haunt them in the end.
