Well we can complain georgej, if the vandalizing of GOP sites by libs is done by hacking or other illegal means. This is just carelessness by Dems that allowed this to happen.

Of course, if it were my site, I would have thought through the ramifications of an open “pledge” system.

I suspect virtually anyone would. Though instead of dropping Howard Dean and ridding the DNC of the source of their failures, at worst they may scold whoever is personally responsible for this. I sure hope so, because Howard Dean is a gift that keeps on giving (though you’ll notice they keep him locked up for extended periods of time now, because he’s done them so much damage in the past).

Rather than realizing their own ineptness, I’m guessing they will blame the vast right wing conspiracy and call for new laws to stop this heinous ‘joking’. A tax will have to be levied of course to cover the cost of enforcing the new law…

And Howard Dean wanted to be president. He should have consulted Al Gore about this whole intrewebnet thing all the kids are using these days. As a web developer all I can say is how sad. They still have not fixed it. I and everyone associated with that page would have been fired from a real job.

Wait a minute, I didn’t examine this that closely, but it appears to me that this isn’t a case of hacking or anything like that, just another simple mistake by the Dean lead DNC to allow these “pledge” forms, where no credit card number is required? Am I understanding this correctly? If so, this is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in some time. Possibly worse than Howard Dean’s campaign to “knock on doors” and “show up at picnics” to spread the message (which as far as I can tell is “we hate Bush”).
