Why is Barack Obama afraid to come on the Factor? Bill wanted to know, so he sent a crew to the Senator’s book signing to confront him face to face. I think Osama Obama has reconsidered:
P.S. Sorry for the shaky video.

Of course he’s scared. All of his public appearances are scripted, just like Hillary’s. You saw how her hubby reacted to an unscripted question. Barak is far too important to George Soros to let him humiliate himself publicly.

I’m sensing the politician in Obama coming out – say whatever to get the guy moving along and then deny it later. We’ll see if he can really stand up to Bill.
thedecider on October 19, 2006 at 9:24 PM
I dont think he knew the camera was on him….but the people were around. “I Like Bill” he quips. Lied like a true

Being an Illinoisan, I am fascinated by the Obama story.
I suspect that he is an empty suit, into which people put whatever they wish was in it, but he is also a remarkably smooth speaker who is carefully cultivating an image as a serious and not overly partisan politician.
The press love him, and I am convinced that they are actively engaged in their own internal struggles to be patient and build him up slowly, so as not to squander the opportunity that he represents.
The debate in Chicago is whether he should risk spending 8 years in anonymity behind Billary as VP, before his coronation, or to risk being submarined by the Clinton mobsters (Hillary, Bill, Rahm) by running against her in 2008. It’s a tough call.
I think he has to wait, and would benefit from some political mentoring by Uncle Bill. If he runs now, his resume — coke snorting affirmative action Harvard fraud, “civil rights attorney”, whatever the hell that is, moonbat leftist State Rep, and then instant multi-millionaire Senator and Presidential nominee — will come under great scutiny, if there is no political record to run on.
His wife just got an absurd promotion at the University of Chicago, apparently based on the spelling of her last name, and makes $300,000 a year for holding community teas. Heh. Gotta love Chicago…

Why is it that Democrats won’t go on the highest rated cable network? I am being serious. Would it not do them more good to be seen by a greater number of people?
Pam on October 19, 2006 at 10:06 PM
He sailing through the “I’m black” protection clause. I have not seen him in real debate. He does not have to come the Oreilly Factor. He should write a book the status of the African American community, rather than bitch around about his glorious history. BTW, I only like his name. It sounds good, and commands attention just like Anorld Schwarzzneggarrr.

Obama must be hoping that Harold Ford loses in Tennessee. His and Hillary’s worst nightmare…
SouthernGent on October 19, 2006 at 10:19 PM
They fear the conservative hit job of course!

Other “factor holdouts” are Al Gore, Howard “Byaaaaa!” Dean, Hillary, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and many more…
V15J on October 19, 2006 at 10:42 PM
But at the same time, it annoys me to no end that O’Reilly feels like he’s entitled to have Obama on his show, that he’s entitled to go on Oprah, yada yada. The O’Reilly factor, years ago, was about news and doing hard interviews. Now, its simply about Bill O’Reilly’s ego.
DaveS on October 19, 2006 at 11:17 PM
Conservatives face liberal hitjobs every day of the week from the entire Liberal Stream Media. So you’re saying that liberals don’t gave the guts to face any media platforms that they aren’t in bed with? Wow–by an uncanny coincidence, that’s the same kind of courage that they show in the War on Terror.

None of these people accepts the offer to appear on O’Reilly’s show, then they accuse O’Reilly of not having enough Dems on his show.
Guess it would eliminate that bullshit talking point if they did go on his show.

I like the Factor but this public ambush smacks of Michael Moore.
SnakeintheGrass on October 19, 2006 at 11:59 PM
Bill needs to come to the realization that some people just don’t like his show. I wouldn’t go on Olbermann’s show. Not because I’m scared, but because I don’t like it.
I like Bill, but this “so and so won’t come on my show so he must be scared” stuff is getting old.
/that is all

Don’t you think his name could be a good target for some kind of subliminal message trick. Like, “Yes, I was debating Barak Osama..er I mean Obama, yes, I meant to say Obama….I get those two confused…..”

Obama bin lobbyin’
dougless on October 20, 2006 at 2:28 AM
So… he said he’d be on the show, yet your headline claims he’s afraid to be on the show.
That pretty much sums up conservative reasoning these days.

BLUF: (Bottom Line Up Front) The man is a complete coward.
Fact: When you conduct the orcastra you MUST turn your back on the crowd. Or if you’re a Dumbocrap you must go on Oprah.

I know they always paint Barak as some poor, mixed race child from HI, (these clowns out here call him the third Senator) but he went to the most expensive school out here on Oahu and wasn’t a scholarship student. I don’t know too much about what he has really done but according to my brother who lives in Glen Ellen, IL, no one seems to know much either. I guess that the fact that he’s an affable man and would make a good figurehead to her Hillaryness that he’s qualified to run for President. But stranger things have happened-some stupid peanut farmer who ran GA into the ground in the 70’s also won. I know he went the Annapolis and worked with the nuke subs but he still had no common sense. My father once commented that some of the dumbest people he ever met was at Annapolis-they were book smart but common sense was something they were certainly lacking.

“Moderate” Democrats always turn out to be less than moderate when it comes down to brass tacks. Anti-Americanism, socialism, UN-worship, class warfare – why is it good to be “moderate” about these fundamentals of the Democrat ideology, instead of rejecting them outright, like any reasonable person should?
Halley on October 20, 2006 at 5:48 AM
He won’t go on O’Reilly because he’s George Soros’ puppet and the hand has other plans that night. We need to support CONSERVATIVE minority candidates with every resource we have. Donate to Michael Steele running for the U.S. Senate seat from Maryland no matter where you live. His seat matters to every one of us.
seejanemom on October 20, 2006 at 6:42 AM
Hey, wonder if he will be the frontrunner as VP for Hill?????
msflea on October 20, 2006 at 7:48 AM
I would be afraid to get close to O’Reilly these days, a man’s neck muscles are only so strong. Sooner or later the laws of physics are going to take over and I pray someone doesn’t get crushed under that head of his.

Unfortunately I’m another political prisoner in the big blue gulag known as Illinois. I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly this “Johnny Bravo” of the Senate was done the last few years to garner the accolades he receives.
I’ve been saying that since he was elected to the Senate. They’ve been grooming him for it since before he delivered the keynote speech at the Democratic convention. Truly a disturbing prospect.
irishsquid on October 20, 2006 at 9:17 AM
labwrs,
I remember a bit that Chris Rock used to do about race in America, where he would say “here I am: young, rich, and famous, and there isn’t a white guy in the audience that would trade places with me today.” And I always figured it was bullshit and he was a black whiner — easy for me to say; I’m white.
I keep thinking that Barack Obama is the proof. Father is Kenyan, gone when he was two; Mom is Kansas-white, as are his grandparents, who raised him after he was 10. And yet he is “black.”
Chris Rock – call your office.
Jaibones on October 20, 2006 at 9:17 AM
Golly, wouldn’t you be scared if you saw that tough, incisive, don’t let him give you any nonsense interview Billo did with Bush?
honora on October 20, 2006 at 9:35 AM
1) They go on Fox all the time. John Kerry was on O’R earlier this week, Chris Wallace will have the top D and R members of the Senate Foreign Relations committee on Sunday.
2) The highest rated cable network delivers far fewer viewers than CBS/NBC/ABC.
O’R has this notion that his program is some sort of barometer or rite of passage. He has between 1.5 and 2 million viewers. Putting him on a par with Law and Order reruns. What a pompous ass.
honora on October 20, 2006 at 9:42 AM
If he likes the aroma of oxygen he will NOT contest St. Hillary! in 2008.
Labamigo on October 20, 2006 at 10:43 AM
The trick with an O’reilly appearance is not to get booked on the same night as a pedophile apologist or criminal-coddling judge. He’s usually pretty mild on his guests.
Osama Obama and Paris Hilton have the same publicist, I betcha.
Left_Behind on October 20, 2006 at 10:46 AM
Being from Illinois, I wonder when Obama has had the time to take care of state business. Perhaps he even forgot where Illinois is.
My opinion is that he is just another token Black man that the dems are using.
BobK on October 20, 2006 at 11:59 AM
I’m not a fan of either Obama or O’Reilly, to be honest. I agree with an above poster–the O’Reilly hit job at his book-signing smacks of Michael Moore. I used to watch The Factor, but haven’t in a while–Bill comes across as an arrogant bully. He gets on my nerves. I’ll take Brit Hume over the rest of Fox’s journos any day. Viva la Brit!

ScottG on October 20, 2006 at 1:02 PM
I agree with Jaibones assesment of Obama being an empty suit. But I’ve also grown tired of O’Reilly’s schtick, especially his constant assertions that anyone who doesn’t come on his show is a coward, and so on.
tomk59 on October 20, 2006 at 3:22 PM
Hmmmm,… ok, so other than being a black man who can actually form and speak grammatically correct English sentences he has done what?
He fully supports giving each terrorist caught on the battle field a lawyer and a civil trial. He welcomes illegals as *undocumented workers*. He thinks a pair of panties on the enemy’s head is torture, TORTURE I SAY! And blames America for Nork nukes, Palestinian punks, Iranian Islamofacists.
I hope he goes all the way in 08, only to get Foleyed, or Warnered, or Chapaquidicked by some Mandinka scandal that gets every one in an OJ froth and has Kennedy and Jackson screaming about shades of MLK.
We need a good, fun, or henious Donk scandal to wallow in just to watch the MSM show their true colors by wordsmithing around it, ignoring it or outright endorsing it.
Alden Pyle on October 20, 2006 at 11:30 PM
The truth of the matter is he will not go on O’Reilly because he will not get softball DNC talking point questions.
That is a fact. O’Reilly is not that tough on his guests but he will not allow them to give prepared speeches like the MSM media allows them to do.
Obama has been handpicked and groomed by the DNC and they do not want anyone crashing the adoration party. Obama is just another Socialist, do a google on his father who was a full fledged communist.
