Thanks for opening the gate. Im a Dashingly handsome single male who is very conservative, wears tighty whiteys once in a while and is slightly new at trying to figure out the depths of politics. Howdy!

The admonition against “nuke Mecca” trolls on the right… smells to me exactly like the same kind of apologist rhetoric from the left when they insist that Islam “…is a religion of peace”.
Mostly I don’t get why “nuke Mecca” types are unwelcome here, when the video blog today was about how Moslem liberals/moderates are actually the minority. Just what cure for the disease of Islam would Ms Malkin and the moderators suggest? Military tribunals and slap on the wrist punishments? Acceptance and understanding? How bout if the religion in question were Satanism or secular humanism?
We’re not going to win the war until we learn to hate the enemy…

I’ve followed this site since its second week of life. I’m not sure where I found the link — perhaps from IMao or just a Google search on Michelle’s name. I’ve been a fan of MM’s column for a year or so. It’s good to be on board.
Sadly, I am neither Fillipina nor a firecracker. I’ll try not to dissapoint in any other way.

Greetings from South Bend, IN…..home of the Fighting Irish. I’m excited to be a new addition to the MM family here at HA. I’ve been a reader of this site for a couple months now and start every day with Vent and AP’s wonderful videos. I’m mostly a lurker and not a poster, but just wanted to say I appreciate everything Michelle and Allahpundit do to keep us informed and aware of everything that is worth while. Thanks again.

I want to mention that I have copied only the best one-liners I could find. Here are a few that still give me the biggest belly laughs and I forgot who made the comments, I do apologize.
“Thank God for Monica. There was no one better at initiating Billy Jeff’s launch sequence.”
“I guess it’s the old “my enemy’s enemy is my friend”, but come on left America, is Bush the devil? Does he really smell like sulfur? I think the smell left in the oval office is actually ass, left from the previous President, but that’s just me. As always, call Servpro. Servpro, like it never even happened.”
Dearest Allah:
We want some of that Olby ass, too.

I’m in heaven, it’s just heaven.
I never thought I’d get in. I want to thank Hot Air, and Michelle, can I call you “Michelle”, or Ms. Malkin, my parents of course, the academy of course and all of the voters who may be about to turn this nation that is the best hope for mankind over to a bunch of defeatocrats who would need years of graduate school to understand how they have become tools of the socialist monsters who think there’s a point to North Korea’s point of view!
Thank you.

AtomicAmish, I am not a covert OP for MoonBattery even though I’m surrounded by it where I live. I just thought it appropriate to use a Librul Lefty phrase against itself. Funny you mention Ms. Slappy Mckinney, I’m in her district and not far from Cynthia McKinney Blvd. I’ll be sportin’ her campaign sign in my yard in a bit in order to rub it in and twist the knife to her minions. I’ll probably put the “ANYBODY BUT” sign I made above it too.

I’m a newbie here also. I read Michelle’s site on a daily basis. I’m a former Democrat (never was a crazed lefty)….but I grew up, got smart and no longer have any use for the socialists that have destroyed the Democratic party. At last!!
Thank you Allah for the leg up on the registration foofarah.
Now that I’m legal, I can’t think of anything cogent and insightful to say except: 12K+ Yeah! – If this is a failing economy, give me more! My business is in the way of doubling over last year and they keep sending me more work. And by the way, I am officially one of the 4.6%, because I haven’t held a payroll job in 2-1/2 years.
So to any of you Save-the-Economy-by-Raising-Taxes Democrats who may have stumbled in through the open door – Keep your stinkin’ hands off George’s economic boom or I’ll have to hurt you!
Dave in W-S on October 19, 2006 at 6:16 PM
More on the economy.
Not only am I a proud 4.6%er, I have 5 people working with me who are either 4.6%ers or are trying really hard to get there, too.

Medea,
Er, you might want to check out BiGB’s comments on the CNN sniper video thread, and check out that link he provides on his comment, here, before you go calling me “teh crazee (nice Deb Frisch)”, or at least read my own comments here where I introduce myself before you go leaping to (erroneous) conclusions.
I call myself Nice Deb because I’m the opposite of that other Deb.
And I was being gentle to the troll in light of some of the things he said.
Nice Deb on October 20, 2006 at 12:22 AM
Homer (staring at all the newbies) – “…my God you’re greasy…”
What a motherload. AP, you opened up a teeny snippet in the time/space continuum and look at the result. (How did you know the timing was just right?)
This is one of the happiest posts I’ve read on here in quite a while. Not the sexiest, but definitely the happiest. It’s great to read all this projectile relief.
And to think I got in here on the sly when reg was closed. (Michelle, it was APs’ fault. I think he wants his punishment to be divvied out between KP, KH & Beth.)
On a side note, nothing to do with any of this, I just gotta say IE7…..sweeeeeeet!
Coronagold on October 20, 2006 at 12:32 AM
To the owners/ operators of Hot Air: Thank you so much for opening the threads to more people. I look forward to offering my two cents…on everything. I am looking forward to spirited debate with some of the liberals out there….and not the typical pie-throwing, assaulting, chidlish tantrums they throw. Just good old fashioned debate.
