I told MM we should have signed her to a noncompete agreement. But does anyone listen to the, er, failed lawyer? No.

Wow – that was very good! You guys really should have signed her to a no-compete agreement. Maybe you should have given her a seperate channel on the HotAir network … oops! Good job, MKH!
P.S. as a completely irrelevant aside, I think Ham Nation would be a country where Eric Cartman would want to live.

It’ll all work out after we buy Townhall.
Allahpundit on October 18, 2006 at 6:30 PM
Allah, I didn’t know you worked for FoxNews… it could only be you she wanted to call, no?
hindmost on October 18, 2006 at 6:33 PM
On another note, it seems that all the conservative vloggers are women (Michelle, MKH, Bethany, Atlas). Man, it’s good to be a conservative male ;)
thirteen28 on October 18, 2006 at 6:43 PM
Am I the only one who couldn’t read those dang napkins? Just looked like bright flashes of white to me.
Watcher on October 18, 2006 at 6:56 PM
Loved the intro.
Valiant on October 18, 2006 at 7:01 PM
Love it. GO MK!
SisterToldjah on October 18, 2006 at 7:04 PM
So Mary Katherine, you like Elvis and Ted Nugent!
Good job, by the way!
Carvin Guitar Man on October 18, 2006 at 7:04 PM
Supplemental income for MKH:
Those bar napkins will be a big hit on eBay.
infidel4life on October 18, 2006 at 7:11 PM
It’s very clever and really amusing! I highly recommend watching it! GO MKH! GIRLPOWER :)
labwrs on October 18, 2006 at 7:19 PM
Very nice, Ham-ster.
Forget all those expensive architecture applications. From now on ALL my network and software designs will be done on BAR NAPKINS.
Lone Star on October 18, 2006 at 7:32 PM
Mary’s down-to-Earth & humorous. And a tad shy. That’s why I enjoy watching her.
And the vlog title “Ham Nation”…I can hear Homer Simpson drooling. :o)
Ham never tasted so Kosher.
Coronagold on October 18, 2006 at 7:33 PM
I always thought she was cute but she played Nugent and now I’m in serious like with her. ;)
Benaiah on October 18, 2006 at 7:34 PM
That was good! Cool “Forrest Gump-esque” intro.
vcferlita on October 18, 2006 at 7:39 PM
Great to see the Haminator at work. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Drtuddle on October 18, 2006 at 8:04 PM
That was fantastic. I love a smart person who’s willing to be silly. Onward and upward, MKH.
mikeyboss on October 18, 2006 at 8:22 PM
Next thing you know, KP will be Vblogging, and HotAir will replace the oxygen network on Cable stations all over the US…
E L Frederick on October 18, 2006 at 9:09 PM
That was just cold, dude….
HerrMorgenholz on October 18, 2006 at 9:46 PM
That was really great, MKH. Loved the intro, the pageboy haircut, and the gangster hat, with a question mark, of course.
Looking forward to the next episode of HamNation.
BlueStateBlues on October 18, 2006 at 10:10 PM
HAHA. That was excellent and very entertaing. Can she be any cuter or more pundit worthy?
Theworldisnotenough on October 18, 2006 at 10:31 PM
Great job, Miss Ham! The hearts and x’s were brilliantly funny.
Might I suggest you use blue or another color of napkin for future vlogs, though? :-)
SouthernGent on October 18, 2006 at 10:49 PM
Hilarious. If my son didn’t already have a steady girl, I’d want him to date MK.
Bob's Kid on October 18, 2006 at 11:17 PM
Yeah, it’s good, but I vote Michelle.
tormod on October 18, 2006 at 11:35 PM
Oh, and by the way marykatherine, I look exactly like Bob Sellers, and I’ll return your calls.
mikeyboss on October 18, 2006 at 11:58 PM
I’ve always liked the Hamster. And she’s Southern, as God intended. That sense of humor thing is going to go a long way to covering up the occasional over-exposed napkin, and for my tiny part, good luck with the video gig!
… but … her taste in football leaves a great deal to be desired …
Axe on October 18, 2006 at 11:59 PM
I like it. Between the two of you, the liberals should start demanding “equal time” any day now.
NRA4Freedom on October 19, 2006 at 12:00 AM
That intro was awesome; loved the music and the moments from history; nicely done. I had trouble seeing the napkins too; might be my lsd monitor but they were a bit hard to see…just wait til they start photoshopping you MKH, and you’ll know you’ve arrived. Rock on.
austinnelly on October 19, 2006 at 12:13 AM
I know so many ignorant people who will go to the polls next month. If she’s finished with those bar napkins, I could sure use them to do some explaining to these folk before they vote:)
wytammic on October 19, 2006 at 12:45 AM
Well done, Mary Katherine.
Please keep it up.
georgej on October 19, 2006 at 1:55 AM
Haminator! The Ham-ster!! Ham-a-lamb-a bing-bong!! (Oi Vay…)
Very nice, thanks for sharing it, Allah. We are going to get those ‘view’-types again, right?!? And as much as I like lookin’ at the ladies, ask COL. Hunt to join in. He was a hoot on FOX’s Live Desk w/ Martha. He took that ‘wild card’ status to heart and had fun with it!
Wedge Plissken on October 19, 2006 at 2:36 AM
Great work.
My only suggestion would be to change the background music to something without lyrics and possibly original.
The presentation was amazingly superb. It flowed smoothly and the host looked very much at ease and was enjoying herself. I look forward to more. Go MKH.
iNeXuS on October 19, 2006 at 3:44 AM
Allah worked for Fox News? I didn’t know that either. By the way, Mr. Pundit, why the stage name?
Tony737 on October 19, 2006 at 7:53 AM
Hell, AP, if MM listened to you, we’d have nothing but vlogs from KP, and Bethany, and MM, and MKH, and, uh…
Michelle, listen to Allah, he’s got the right direction for HotAir!
dalewalt on October 19, 2006 at 8:55 AM
It’s not a bad vlog. The “bas napkin” was handle and cute.
oldelpasoan on October 19, 2006 at 11:03 AM
Hah! yes. More Ham, please!
RiverCocytus on October 19, 2006 at 11:17 AM
Very nice! Fun and educational. Try a “Sharpie” next time. Illustrated nicely how Republicans suck at “October surprises”. Need four napkins and a law degree to understand it.
Keep it up.
jdpaz on October 19, 2006 at 11:36 AM
Excellent piece of work, looks like you guys maybe taught her too well.. go get em MKH!!
Viper1 on October 19, 2006 at 11:44 AM
Not too shabby! Not at all.
I see a brite future ahead for her.
DannoJyd on October 19, 2006 at 1:09 PM
Loved every second of it. Even when she seems a tad uncomfortable it comes across as disarmingly charming.
Looking forward to more from MKH in the future!
Citizen Duck on October 19, 2006 at 1:21 PM
marry me?
freekurdistan on October 19, 2006 at 1:27 PM
Not to burst anyone’s bubble or take away from a very entertaining vlog, but please tell me that Salem paid the music publisher their royality required for the use of “She Drives Me Crazy.”
If no royalties were paid, expect to hear moonbats barking that MKH stole her intro song just like Bush stole the past two elections…
ScottMcC on October 19, 2006 at 2:10 PM
Should be Ham-Star! Nice job MKH
Dread Pirate Roberts VI on October 19, 2006 at 2:43 PM
I’m still waiting to hear more on the mud wrestling, MKH.
Rick on October 19, 2006 at 3:10 PM
WooHoo, Mary Katherine!!!
Excellent Vlog.
Your illustrations are very reminiscent of Frank J’s “Hate Filled Lefty” at IMAO.
Jack.
