Deadskins

Losing to a winless team. That your division rivals destroyed a few games back. That starts a rookie QB. At home. After starting the season talking about going to the Super Bowl.

That’s gotta hurt.

Blowback

You could be a Chiefs fan like me. Slaughtered by the Steelers.

Doesn’t matter, Cowboys aren’t going to the playoffs. They won’t even secure a wildcard. All is well.

Ian on October 15, 2006 at 10:39 PM

25-22. At home. Against a winless team, until today.

Meanwhile: 34-6 over a similar team. Three TD’s from TO.

All is well.

In Dallas.

Bryan on October 15, 2006 at 10:45 PM

Bah, the Deadskins will stink until they get rid of that antique head coach quarterback.

webproze on October 15, 2006 at 11:09 PM

The ‘Skins did me no favors in the office pool, but I think I was the only one to pick the Lions …woohoo!

SouthernGent on October 15, 2006 at 11:14 PM

Do you really need to pour more salt on my wound?

CR UVa on October 15, 2006 at 11:27 PM

I thought you didn’t like TO?

Well, it’s okay, I rather not have to deal with trash like him .

Ian on October 15, 2006 at 11:31 PM

Thank God I’m a Saints fan, even though I live in DC and I still root for the Skins. Today’s loss was painful.

CookeyD on October 15, 2006 at 11:35 PM

Hey Cookey, same here .. although I am a die hard Skins fan, I am rooting for the Saints. Congrats on the win!

Ian on October 15, 2006 at 11:39 PM

All is well.

In Dallas.

That it is (especially when the Eagles and Redskins go out and get beat).

Rick on October 15, 2006 at 11:42 PM

Where are all the Eagles chicks’s fans now?

Rick on October 15, 2006 at 11:48 PM

Colts must have a by? At least Eli won today with his Giants :)

wytammic on October 16, 2006 at 12:10 AM

Well it is good to be a San Diegan.

Go Chargers!

Theworldisnotenough on October 16, 2006 at 12:16 AM

Dang, there were quite a few spankings given out in the NFL today. 49ers and Chiefs for sure got whipped up on.

wytammic on October 16, 2006 at 12:21 AM

Well, it’s okay, I rather not have to deal with trash like him .

Temper, Temper Mr.Ian! Hurts don’t it? Maybe you should get TO’s new kid’s book comings out. Teach ya to be nice and share. :)

Drtuddle on October 16, 2006 at 1:26 AM

I root for two teams. The lowly Buffalo Bills, and anyone who plays the foreskins!

rightside on October 16, 2006 at 3:05 AM

Rick, the Eagles are still in 1st Place. They let the ‘Aints win because of sympathy, first game back in the Superdome and all of that. (just kidding)

Tony737 on October 16, 2006 at 5:21 AM

I’m looking foreward to watching The Bears Monday night. I was too busy to see any of the games on Sunday.

DannoJyd on October 16, 2006 at 5:43 AM

Wow, you guys are lucky the Patriots didn’t play yesterday, huh?

Mortis on October 16, 2006 at 6:34 AM

Losing to a winless team.

They aren’t the only ones.

Fortunately for most Buffalonians, they’re power is still out, so the didn’t have to see the slaughter…

At least my team has Eli and Tiki and Jeremy and…

looking4statesmen on October 16, 2006 at 7:27 AM

Looking4statesmen,
Appears we have the same team:) Although, Colts are my favorite. One cannot help but like those Manning kids.

I was an avid Raiders fan for over a decade, then I got help. (That’s the first time I’ve said that outloud … or typed it outloud:)

wytammic on October 16, 2006 at 8:39 AM

I’ve been saving some seats on the Bears Bandwagon. Hop on now before it’s too late.

irishsquid on October 16, 2006 at 8:45 AM

Hehehe. Football season began last night. What was that score, 45-7?

rightwingprof on October 16, 2006 at 10:07 AM

Danno and Squid,

It seems like these other girls are talking about football, and yet they don’t mention the Bears. Why do you suppose that is?

Heh…

PS Bryan, AP, et al: the boys will be coming to your sissy towns soon enough. Better strap it on.

Jaibones on October 16, 2006 at 10:50 AM

Gotta love parity. Good news for my Steelers is not that they seem (?) to have gotten themselves righted, but that both the Bengals and Ravens lost. With the possible exception of the Bears and Oakland and Cleveland, seems like no one is as good or bad as expected.

Oh for the days of dominance….

honora on October 16, 2006 at 11:30 AM

GO BRONCOS!!!

What a waste tonight, Chicago vs. Arizona? WHO CARES???

shooter on October 16, 2006 at 12:12 PM

Uh…shooter? I care…

Jaibones on October 16, 2006 at 12:34 PM

Ahem.

DA-BEARS!
