I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but if so, why don’t you think this would be good for the GOP? Gay marriage legalized in another state by activist judges just ten days before the elections? And then Saddam verdict read live on international television on November 5, just TWO DAYS before the election?

That’s a double-punch to the Democrats, putting them on the defensive about gay marriage and the Iraq War just 48 hours before the polls open.

They’re finished.

1) Yes I am being sarcastic (not very well apparently! ;^)
2) Gay marriage--there is such a thing as going to the well once too often.
3) Saddam verdict--so what? This is old news. Also, don't underestimate the possibility of the Sunni reaction to this--more violence in Iraq.

We shall see.

And if that doesn't do it, that flag burning stuff never gets old. Paging Doctor Pavlov.

So the powers that be in the WH mock the religious right and values voters. Gee, why would that be?

EVERYONE: OCTOBER SURPRISE WILL BE GAY MARRIAGE.

New Jersey is expected to legalize gay marriage by October 25th at the latest, and that will be a powerful bomb to drop just ten days before the election. The Democrats will never have time to recover from it. It'll drive moderates and evangelicals to the polls for Republicans favoring a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

The decision to legalize gay marriage by the NJ Supreme Court is almost 100% certain. This is the same court that ordered the Boy Scouts to let gays in and was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court, and you can read the justices statements so far online on the wikipedia page. It's obvious they're going to legalize gay marriage and decapitate the Democrats' momentum.

This on the same day that Gerry (likes to play with young) Studds dies. Oh, he was such a great hero and activist to the Democrats. Not to mention a PEDOPHILE. Of course, he was from the same state as Barney Frank, who let a PEDOPHILE prostitute ring operate out of his house.

By the ame token, Mass-of-two-s**ts is also the home to Teddy (Drunken murderer) Kennedy, and John "Traitor" Kerry (who, by the way, fought in Vietnam).

But Dhimmi-Rats are OK with all these people. Bunch of freakin' hypocrites!!!!!

Shackler, according to the MSM, and the Democratic Party, you are right, but what if they lose again? Does that spell the end of the party? Many think it does.

Axe, I agree with you, and this commentary from IBD thinks the liberals have nothing to brag about.

Christoph, in order to avoid such potential problems there is a very simple, and time tested solution. Chaperone's keep things safe for all involved at any sort of gathering, and there were plenty at the Kolbe camping trip.

Mike O, of course they are trying to maintain the facade, but they don't realize that Americans have stopped wearing rose colored glasses, and can thus see right through their lame efforts today. 20 years ago, the quite apparent basis of the MSM would have gone unnoticed by the masses.

Liberals are getting desperate now that all believe they can steal back Congress. They realize they will lose more than another chance at regaining power should they lose. They will also lose relevancy.

Speaking of October surprises, it seems Karl “Disney” Rove is back in the crosshairs of liberal nuts. Maybe South Park was onto something; perhaps Karl Rove is planting Rove conspiracy theorists to be feared?

I think the Octover surprise will be WMDs, but they may be saving that one for '08. I think it's quite clear they were there, but I'm not clear on why they're not showing us the evidence. I think it's either that we're trying to covertly track it and terrorists down in Syria, or what many have said, that Russia's involvement in Iraq's WMD program and in moving it out of the country would come to light and we are trying not to alienate them when we think we need their help with Iran and NK. Either way, I find it ridiculous to believe they weren't there. Aside from the fact that we found those 500 chemical weapons that everyone blew off because they were "old". But an important point was missed. Saddam was supposed to "disclose and disarm". If these are just some old junk, why not disclose them? And if he didn't disclose junk, how much harder did he work to hide the good stuff?

Anyway, I've got no problem with that being an Oct. Surprise. Like, you couldn't use UBL because his death/capture needs to be announced asap because there is potential to hurt morale of terrorists. But WMDs won't have that effect, so pulling them out now or 5 years from now isn't going to make the Iranians pack up in Iraq and go home. I would love to see the Dems fade away if Rove pulls WMDs out of his hat.

By the way, does anyone remember after about a year in Iraq with no WMDs many on the left speculating that if it was discovered soon they'd question whether it was planted. It was more internet lefty-blog talk, but I'm sure you heard mention. Here's my question for the 9/11 Truther types though. Why couldn't Bush have planted WMDs? I mean, he pulled off an impossible attack on his own country, requiring thousands of people, fake phone calls, etc. etc. but somehow couldn't even plant some WMDs 6,000 miles away? If it wasn't already clear how ridiculous the Truthers are, chew on that for a minute. Seriously, Bush's presidency would look totally different right now, if only for WMDs being found, ya know? No one could call him a liar or saying he cherrypicked intel, the war would be justified, tec. etc. Sure, it's not going great, but the support would be extremely different if we had the goods. Bush doesn't play to poll numbers, yet he seems to remain pretty confident all the time. Let's hope that's in part due to his knowledge that we've got the stuff and just not revealing it yet.

Yep, it looks as though the democrat leadership is either not afraid of pissing off their homosexual base and knows they can count on their votes, or, they don't care about their votes much.

Talk about wag the dog...WHERE'S THE STORY ON SENATOR HARRY REID?

Gimme a break, MSM, there's no sky pilot at your helm, trying to get this story out.

Everyone with half a brain, including rose colored glasses wearing dhimmicr@ps can see this is a transparent attempt to keep the story line going on the front page. When will they learn?

This is laughable on it's face.

An NBC investigative report posted on MSNBC's website. That's a tell. These folks are flat out desperate and wear their liberal colors on their sleeves without any reservations now.

The bulk of the story, as posted, suggests Kolbe did nothing wrong. The accusations didn't even come from the so-called victim, but from an anonymous source who was uncomfortable with what he saw as innappropriate touching of another page. The page himself said he had a great time on the trip. Where's the friggin story here? Just what crime took place OVER TEN YEARS AGO?

It it's now a crime to touch someone, warranting a probe by Federal Prosecutors, we all better run for the hills.

Beware my conservative friends. Eyes front, hands to the side, or YOU COULD BE NEXT!

And for you liberals ..... feel free to continue touching, groping and feeling as often as you want, whenever and wherever you get the urge, and feel safe that no accusations or investigations will come your way or ruin your reputation.

Here's what I think (and I offer my standard disclaimer of "I reserve the right to be wrong about this"):

People have already made up their minds on whom they will vote for come November. And I don't think any "shocking" news short of "all Republicans in the Senate and House are getting their collective asses hauled off to jail for regular love-ins with animals from a wealthy contributors private zoo" will change folks' minds at this point.

Re the October surprise conspiracy theories: Novelist jane Smiley, posting on HuffPo a couple of days ago, aired a theory from one her readers, because she considered it "logical".

The theory is that the Republicans are responsible for ginning up the Foley scandal. Why? It's to distract from the preparations for the pre-election attack on Iran. These nuts are so funny. Every single thing that ever happens is a plot by somebody to "distract", or to "profit", or to distract from a plot to profit, or to profit from a distraction, or something.

Hold the fort! So you can't go camping with teens unless you're gay and in the Boy Scouts according to the democrats/dinosaur media now? They never, ever follow their own convictions.
