Why are modern women so choosy in love?
Personally, I think there are two major factors at play here.
The first is to do with money, and specifically this generation of women’s ability to earn it like never before.
The second is the flipside of the female psyche from the one that forges a career — the part which, fuelled by romantic books and films, retains an ideal of a Mr Right which may simply not exist.
But he does exist. And now everyone on Wall Street knows his name.

Question for the ladies: assuming he wasn’t a pathological liar, would you be all over this? Not because of the looks or the physique or the money or the charm, of course.

No. Confidence is best exerted quietly, simply by living and displaying it. Not by advertising it.
He sounds/looks like all the other so-called gurus, on any topic. Not my thing, ever. Waste of energy and money.
For the ladies and the gents, hook up with someone you’d like to have a pleasant long brunch with, after the honeymoon is over. It’s that simple or that complicated.

I looked up the guy he dedicated the video to: Radomir Kovacevic. Pretty impressive.
I’m pretty sure Aleksey’s full of it, though. If he’s in fact pulling our collective leg in this video, then he’s probably a pretty cool guy. If not he’s a complete jerk.
Women seem to be attracted to complete jerks…what’s up with that?

Incapacity to differentiate.
Confidence is not brashness nor assertiveness etc.
But lots of women (not hardly all) are… like colorblind in this arena. Some even can intellectually see the difference but are drawn to the false analogues despite themselves.
Kinda like the way a lot of men are about rubber boobs. Some are repulsed, some don’t see the puffery, other don’t care.

Barf. I only made it to when he drops the weights. “Here I am sooo strong” except that the trainer was lifting his arms and he couldn’t put the weights down correctly. Anyone who thinks that makes him look GOOD is someone I’d run away from fast.

Was there a single platitude in that presentation that was a new thought? An original idea? A revolutionary concept? No?
I guess he stands or falls on the visuals alone. Poor guy. My teenage daughter knows how to lift more properly than that, and if she was going to make a video resume, she’d surely not include shots of poor form, “cheating” a rep, or using three spotters to get what I’ll have to assume was a “personal best”. Just saying…

That isnt confidence. That is conceitedness..quite the opposite and very very UNattractive.
Confindence shows in how a man walks, talks, carries himself and behaves. Like a gentleman. Like a MAN. That is what attracts women.
This guy’s “self-esteem” is WAY out of whack. Not only that, this entire episode is so narcisstic and delusional.

AP, I see KP’s hand in these feminist-leaning stories. It’s good that you have a girlfriend, but it’s interfering with work and a distraction. If you’re going to bring her online here, you don’t have to remodel the site to look and sound more like her home blog. We won’t have a small farm animal (cow) and will accept her for who she is rather than ostracise her for her views we don’t agree with.

American Women (generally speaking) confuse “confidence” with “arrogance”
they want the nice guy to grow old with, but Barbie and Bratz teaches us to look for the “Bad Boy” tm.
So you get:
…”yes he HIT me, but I know I can change him! I know the REAL him inside .. *swoon*”
Its also these kind of Jerks that use the old adage to their advantage “Ya treat whores like Queens and Queens like whores”
Unfortunately the adage is an adage because it works with some women.
A word that seems to be obsolete in the english language but ABSOLUTELY ALIVE in usage is the word
“Cad”. (definition 1) I believe we should revive its usage and apply it where needed.
