Drudge reported that one of the kids, the "outted" one, who was supposedly 18 when the IMs took place, was claiming that it was a prank that got out of hand. That didn't excuse any of Foley's behavior by any means. It was only important in telling us how this thing came to light, and at such a perfect time for Dems. I don't think anyone said "case closed the whole thing was a prank."

Correct me if I’m wrong Wolf, but I don’t think anyone suggested “this whole thing” was a prank.
