DU: Thanks, YouTube, for removing Malkin’s video! Update: YouTube targets Rusty’s videos, too

There was a poll at dKos a few months ago that asked who people despised more, Bush or Bin Laden.

Osama won. 58-41.

When you read them day in and day out, and you compare the frequency and intensity of their scrutiny of Republicans versus radical Muslims, it’s very clear very quickly who their real enemy is. But when you put the choice to them starkly, like the dKos poll did, they know how to answer. Or rather, they know how they’re supposed to answer.

But maybe that’s changing.

It’s not that they’re calling for censorship — this is, after all, just their version of a boycott, same as the one we called for against Miller for sponsoring that illegal immigration rally last month. It’s not the rhetoric directed at Michelle, either — “unhinged bitch” is pretty mild compared to what she usually gets, especially coming from someone with an Olberdouche avatar.

The point to take away from that thread and the e-mail campaign they’re trying to get going is that, given an informed choice between her and the jihadis trying to get her banned, they’re openly siding with the jihadis.

Is it time to re-run the Kos poll?

Update: It ain’t a coincidence.

we know they always become more unhinged closer to November… mostly every 2-years. This is par for the course and they will pay for it. They can’t keep their pants on. They’re like serial flashers.

Time to break out the little white straightjackets
And file this under “Democratic Hypocrisy Item” #1,000,003

I don’t call 58-41 “knowing how they’re supposed to answer.” Seems like 41% is outside normal tolerances for percentage of crazies in any one poll.

Notice the blantant racist remarks about MM. Mmmmmm, gotta git me some of that diversity and tolerance from the left!!!

The kos poll is probably wrong by now. I actually went to the moonbat site and asked who is the enemy of our country, conservatives or radical islamic thugs??? The answers were pretty much what I expected: A. Both B. Bush C. Republicans.

How can you discuss important issues with children that have no moral education????

Andy in Agoura Hills on October 4, 2006 at 3:57 PM

As long as Oprah thinks he’s sexy, then that’s gospel.

What will really make them unhinged is if the MSM actually started paying attention to the economy. Remember, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

11,850… Clinton must be peeing his pants, right now. Probably from the lunch time drink, but that’s not helping, either.

Just wait until we get Zarqawi in the coming weeks…bwahahahahah.

SouthernGent on October 4, 2006 at 4:13 PM

Um, you mean Zawahiri? ‘Cause Zarqawi is rotting, already.

You can’t.

You can only ignore their yapping as you steamroll over them, or you can waste your time trying debate them in order to “build bridges” to them (while they’re busy blowing it up in your face).

I choose the former.

They aren’t interested in what we have to say, only in demonizing us as often as possible.

Yes! Thanks for the correction!

wonder what would happen if we started hitting liberal videos with reports that they were offensive material and promoted racism, offensive material and hurt our feelings?

Defector01 on October 4, 2006 at 4:36 PM

Pardon this seemingly fatuous comment, but I can’t, for the life of me, understand the left’s venom towards Ms. Malkin.

Admittedly, I start from a bad place in trying to understand, as I’m a huge fan of her style & forthright exposition on matters of intense interest. But what is it that she advocates that can be considered unhinged? I can understand folks disagreeing with her, even when I don’t, but she’s totally hinged.

Oh, wait – from DU’s perspective, she’d appear unhinged, solely because she’s on the opposite side of the hinged/unhinged chasm. Forget I mentioned it.

But, like so much of the leftists’ cant, repeatedly calling her unhinged definitely don’t make it so.

Patton on October 4, 2006 at 4:56 PM

The simple truth is that DU’ers for all their bluster about Free Speech and Constitutional Rights are nothing more than a cabal of self-righteous hypocrites, blowhards and small-minded children. In other words, modern Democrats.

If there is anyone who makes me a happy to be a Conservative and a Republican, its them.

People tend to protest louder when they are found to be the guilty party; something about protesting too much. It is a form of misdirection. When you are losing the arguement, just get louder and drown the other guy out, right? Morals, ethics, and integrity just don’t have any place in the liberal world.

PC is kind of a quaint term by now I guess.
But PC is certainly still practiced.
Here we have a wondrously apt demonstration of the similarities PC wrt Shari’a.
Stifle dissenting voices.
Then group ululation.
Then hunt for more infidelity.

It’s pretty clear that DU types are less simpatico with Individual Rights types than they are with even jihadists.

It’s a hive-mind thing. Hard for us to fathom sometimes.
OTOH it’s freakin’ impossible for a hive-minder (of any hive) to understand us. Ever.

“I’m concerned with your recent wave of bannings and video submissions. I don’t understand why a US Company would keep terrorist propaganda videos, such as the many videos of Iraqi snipers killing US Soldiers, but pull any video remotely critical of the ongoing jihad. I really hate the fact that, on principle, I can no longer continue to use your site.”

This was a copy of my feedback to them. It sucks, I really really liked YouTube too.

You have to remember that Google is run by a bunch of liberals. Anyone remember the leftist blog sites being posted on the main Google news site as real news? It seems these sites are being run by leftists. Perhaps a conservative run alternative to youtube would be preferable. :)
