A lot of this stuff seems to be coming out Ross’ site on ABC; he has admitted that he knew about this at least as far back as August but sat on it due to pressing reporting duties about the Katrina (one year ago)disaster and the 9/11 (5 years ago) anniversary.

Quare: Does anyone wonder if there might be a link between ABC’s timing in exposing this right now, and the “Path to 9/11″ controversy? In other words, could this be ABC’s effort to get back into the Democrat’s good books by giving them the 2006 mid-term elections?

I want to know the provenance of the IMs. Until an FBI cyber forensics specialist can authenticate them, I’raTHer think that they may be “fake but accurate”.

No, I’m not defending Foley or anyone else who may have known for certain. But this is being manipulated and controlled by someone(s) who wants the Dems to take over Congress.

Once again, possible criminal behavior is not being merely alleged by the media; People are being tried and sentenced by the media, NOT the proper legal authorities.

How convenient that Brian Ross, who is actively trying to topple the Bush Administration by publishing leaks, is the ONLY source of these IMs!

How do we know that this isn’t another “rathergate?”

I only wish those who knew about previously, whether they be R or D’s, media or anyone else, could be prosecuted for some crime. Knowing about it and letting it continue has to be prosecutable somehow.
