Video: Foley in “If I were one of those sickos”

posted at 6:33 pm on October 1, 2006 by Ian

Stop the ACLU has video of Mark Foley talking to America’s Most Wanted’s John Walsh, who has devoted his career to exposing sickos like the former congressman.

Blowback

Is it just me or did he stutter a little on “If I were… one of those… sickos…” ?

Definitely.. he hesitates twice: “Well if I were…. one of these sickos, I’d be…. nervous, with Americas Most Wanted on my….. trail.”

RightWinged on October 1, 2006 at 8:37 PM

actually hesitates 3 times (not twice as I said for some reason)

The video confirms what we know and don’t condone, that Foley is scum and is paying for his duplicity.

Here is an interesting compilation from Gateway pundit. Good job linking to a variety of happenings in the holier-than-though camp.

* Representative Foley did not have sex with the minor, did not have sex with the young man in the Oval office, did not put him in a high level security position he was not qualified to handle after a major terrorist attack on the country, was not married at the time, did not run a prostitution ring from his apartment, did not turn his back on Congress when he was accused of having sex with a minor, did not run and get re-elected several times in a democratic stronghold after this news broke, Representative Foley no longer sits in Congress, and the page did not disappear and end up dead after an ongoing relationship with Representative Foley.

So the fact that democrats are pointing fingers shows that they are only politicizing this very serious issue.

Pay a visit for the myriad of interesting links.

This will unearth again the wonderously ‘clean’ behaviour of the liberal officials, including their emperor-without-clothes, Mr. Clinton himself. Imagine what Hillary has to say about this; with what authority?

They’re bringing it on themselves in their zeal and couldn’t happen to a more hypocritical bunch.

Today, the ‘wonderful’ Ms. Kirsten Pawers was blowing steam on FOX, as if she was Sister Teresa herself. When asked about the dems holding back the info, to the detriment of the youth, she pretended not to hear the question.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the tragi-comedy of the next 2-3 weeks. The fools are us for electing such nitwits to represent us. Like doctors and lawyers, they cover each others’ arses, on both sides of the isle.

What happened to his “Freedom of Speech”? Sure his goals, tone and words were reprehensible but he didn’t solicit sex from the all too willing participant. He engaged in some nasty talk. BFD. WAS A CIGAR INVOLVED? I think not. WERE DOCUMENTS STUFFED IN HIS DRAWERS! I say nay. IF it would be legal for him to actually sodomize the young man, what sense does it make for him to be in trouble for talking about it?

p.s I am not defending pedophilia, or creepiness, for those who leap at the slightest thing.

Soothsayer, you’re partly right. Proper action was taken, this guy is a sicko and has righfully resigned, but when you compare what he did (said some gross sh** to a kid) it’s nothing compared to the countless scandals, many sexual, that we have on the left without resignations or any real responsibility taken. There are really tens of millions of people who don’t think Clinton/Lewinsky affected Billy Jeff’s ability to do his job, first when it was going on, and second when the who thing came to light, etc. They would have you believe that this was “personal” and not related to his job as President and that’s efffing bullsh**. Jumping back to Clinton’s handling of terrorism (which he is making the issue, and I’m not “blaming” him for)… don’t you think that while he was spending time trying to hide the fact that he was banging an intern from his wife, staff, and country affected how engaged he could have been on all issues?

I mean, what would/should he have been doing during time he spent with Monica? Whether it was on terrorism or something else, he was clearly devoting time somewhere that it didn’t belong, and again, there is all the time and energy that went in to hiding it, beyond just the acts themselves…. But the point is, he never really owned up to it.. He was forced to after debating the word “is”. Foley apologized, resigned, and has now entered rehab. I don’t even want to rant on this anymore because the double standard is just infuriating.

To be clear, I think it’s disgusting what Foley did and I’d be pissed if he wasn’t forced out…. But I’m equally pissed that Dems never do, yet they are throwing a huge fit over this, which when you come down to it was gross talk, with no action.

Is Foley married? Have kids?

Kokonut on October 2, 2006 at 10:44 AM

I’m pretty sure Foley is single. Don’t know about the kids.
