Enemy bombers appeared over XXXXXXXX for the first time in the current war, inflicting damage on schools and hospitals. Invading planes failed to cause any damage on military establishments, although casualties in the schools and hospitals were as yet unknown, This inhuman attack on these cultural establishments and on residential districts is causing widespread indignation among the populace….Nine of the attacking planes were shot down and the rest repulsed by heavy anti-aircraft fire.

French Unifil Trrops: “Are those missiles in that truck?”

Hezbollah: “Yep.”

French Unifil Troops: “Are you going to, I dunno, shoot them at Israel?”

Hezbollah: “Eventually. Would you please get out of the way Jacques, we have missiles to store.”

French Unifil Troops: “Well, we’re filing a report. So, um, carry on I guess.”

Hezbollah: “Hey, why don’t you make yourself useful and go get in front of those Israeli tanks over there.”

French Unifil Troops: “Are they oppressing you?”

Hezbollah: “Like you wouldn’t believe. Thanks Jacques, allah-be-praised and whatnot.”

I find it interesting that the Frenchies are more willing to defend Lebanese territory than their own country. If this confrotation had taken place in Paris, the IDF would be marching down the middle of the city of lights unscathed. Vive le IDF!!

Ummm… I’m confused… how does arresting Journalists violate 1701? Even journalists are not supposed to go certain places, especialy to monitor Military manuvers…

The Israelis, under 1701 are withdrawing, BUT, if they still have troops in Leb, which they do as they withdraw, then they can enforce security.

Its also interesting that the French Military immediatly knew about this… a bit… convenient…

Maybe the UN should be moved to Palestinian Territory. That seems to be their great focus lately and would boost the local economy. US and other nations are already pumping tons of money into the region so what’s another building. Then it can either fail or succeed along with the Palestinians.
