Video: Michelle talks Clinton on O’Reilly
posted at 9:43 pm on September 25, 2006 by Allahpundit
This was the first time I’ve had to poke around inside the video clip for more than a few seconds to find a good screencap of the boss. The subject was, after all, Billy Jeff, so her expression for most of the segment was like this:

Which happened to be exactly the same expression most American conservatives had while watching that interview yesterday.
She pulled it together, though, and knifed him with a smile.
No discussion of Monday night political football would be complete without a mention of the lovely KP. I’ve got a special Powers-related treat in the tank but it’s so good I’m going to save it for a separate post tomorrow. In the meantime, here she is giving Bill O her patented 200-watt “you’re so funny!” shinola-eating grin. I don’t know whether to goof on her or be jealous of him.

This makes me laugh too. I caught it during a two-second cut from Michelle to a split-screen.

Look at that coquettish head tilt. Masterful.

O’Reilly was insane, KP was, well, KP, and Michelle was trying to hold the segment together with sanity. It was tough against the other two…

My Dream Girl Michelle lets us all know what the real world is thinking. Bill is a bit over the top but Michelle is on the money!

Before I scrolled below the last pic, I was thinking “coquettish”. Great minds …
mikeyboss on September 25, 2006 at 10:16 PM
Yeah, yeah. But it’s what’s in that head that counts too! And what the heck was this statement:
KP: “He wishes he had done more to do.”
You’re far too quick-witted and caustic for her, Allah; and even someone as manly and virile (no doubt)as you needs mental stimulation as well. Time to move on.

I’m not sure what O’Reilly is trying to do. I think that he is trying to be an entertainer more than a commentator. He is starting to lose it. He is missing the point more and more. Ms. Malkin is working hard to bring a serious note back to the show. I think that Ms. Powers is more of a distraction than a contribution.
DAT60A3 on September 25, 2006 at 10:40 PM
Ms. Malkin compared President Clinton’s outburst to a tantrum from her 2 year old carpet commando. I bet that the 2 year old is much more mature than the former President.
DAT60A3 on September 25, 2006 at 10:56 PM
She definitely contributes to my distraction.
;-)

Allah, You really need to work through the KP thing. You can do better man….

Allah’s funniest when he’s funny in the pants.

“He melted down like my two year old at bedtime.” *SLAP*
That was hilarious :)

I don’t get it Allah, why the obsession with KP?
Of course I also don’t get the obsession people have with Ann Coulter either. Frankly, they just aren’t all that. Maybe it’s because I don’t like blondes.

Didn’t I hear that KP wanted to quit blogging because there was no gain in reaching moderate liberals? Then why does she still take that same old stance on TV? I guess it’s ingrained. Maybe hanging out with Michelle will rub off on her, eventually.
Coronagold on September 26, 2006 at 7:39 AM
How does anyone slobber over Kirsten when Michelle is right next to her? I wouldn’t even NOTICE Kirsten is she were in the same room with Michelle! And doesn’t she get tired of gettin’ her butt kicked every week in these debates? Smarter and better looking, Michelle wins the beauty and brains contest over and over again.
Anyway, I think HotAir would go up to #1 if Michelle just combined her other website to this one.
Tony737 on September 26, 2006 at 8:05 AM
Tony737-Hot Air is doing fine. It’s #1 with me, at least.
BClinton is over and done with, and lacks the grace to admit that his day was last millenium;the world has moved on.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again…Ms. Malkin doen’t need to go on this programme. She is at a different level. Someone above said that she was trying to keep the segment together, and that is dead on. She had the only substantive comments about the Clinton meltdown.
Admittedly, O’Reilly’s show is a success, but he is in danger of letting his ego blow it for him. It seemed that half of every segment was a repeat of his mantra that “Clinton’s a good man; he is devastated by not getting Osama, blah blah blah blah blah…” He wasted half of Gingrich’s appearance going on with his own theories (I swear that at one point I saw Gingrich wince).
Frankly, if Fox had a programme with Gingrich and Malkin as commentators, they would have a dynamite…no ATOMIC…no NEWTLEAR hit…it would make O’Reilly look like dog food. (To make Allah happy throw in Ms. Powers).

In blue jeans or a dress, Michelle ALWAYS looks scrumptious.
Keeps getting better every time I see her.
Sorry, AP, I just don’t see how you can go for a left-leaning woman. I learned that heartbreak lesson long ago.
“Life’s a banquet and most leftists are starving to death”
IMHO.

Take it from one w/experience, AP. My former fiancee was violently liberal (yes, violently, but that’s another story), and I’m definitely conservative. KP may be easy on the eyes, but the rest of it just isn’t worth it. My fiancee and I finally broke it off in the months leading up to the 2004 election; she wanted to know why I was so against Kerry.
“He’s pro-abortion.”
“So?”
“So I don’t believe abortion is right.”
“Why not?”
“It’s killing a innocent life.”
“Before we met, *I* had an abortion.”
“Well, you may have had your reasons, but I still don’t agree with abortion being legal. It doesn’t change the way I feel about you, or how I look at you, but just because you had an abortion doesn’t mean I’m suddenly going to think it should be legal, either”
“So I’m a baby-killer?”
And, it went downhill from there. So trust me on this one AP. Remember the good times (or thoughts) you’ve shared, and move on. It’s just. not. worth. it.

When I read these Allah KP posts, I’m reminded of the “thunderbolt” scene in “The Godfather”.

I think Bill O’Reilly has the appropriate take on the Clinton Wallace encounter.
It all comes down to politics and protecting what he believes is his legacy.
Pathetic but nevertheless planned.
MarkB on September 26, 2006 at 12:54 PM
O’ Reilly was baiting for an interview with slick willie during the Baba WaWa interview. Now he tells MM to take it easy on Bubba so Bubba might look O’Reilly’s way.

And what a wonderful smile it is…
{sigh}
Lawrence on September 26, 2006 at 2:54 PM
I did notice that the more Kirsten has to be on with Michelle, the lower and wider her neckline. I think KP is just a bit jelous of MM, and probably a bit intimidated as well.

Zinnngggggg!!!

Spin Kirsten, Spin. Your makin’ me dizzy. However, it is quite entertaining watching you dance.
Lawrence on September 26, 2006 at 3:35 PM
Wallace to Clinton: Do you feel like you did enough as a president to adress the threat of terrorism?
Clinton to Wallace: Did I do enough?? Why is always what I did?? What about him! Why don’t you ask him what he did! You’re trying to trick me! You’re trying to make me look guilty! I did everything!!
O’Reilly to Clinton: Daaaanng, Billy boy- why not give me some of that? Spread the love, man!
Jewels on September 26, 2006 at 5:14 PM
It’s extremely rare for me to disagree with Michelle, but I have to this time. I think O’Reilly is right on the money about Clinton’s blow-up being very intentional.
I previously commented on the “Slick Willie’s Day of Rage” page saying:
As evidence that this was a premeditated Clinton hit-piece on Fox the following moonbat titles given to clips of the interview on UTube:
You get the point. Clinton’s intent was to energize the moonbat base.
By the way, here’s a reminder of how, during his last days in office, Clinton worked hard to get Bin Laden.
