Here we see an example of multi-culturism and political correctness at it worse. i.e. why can't we all get along People that embrace this insanity are unable to recognize evil and unfortunately many of these clueless creatures are in positions of political power.

I regularly pray that Len wins. I am voting for him and my entire family is voting for him. I believe we can beat the <strike>He-She</strike>...er Govenor. Last time the vote was extremely close. It will be a hard fight, but we have a few things going for us this time that we didn't last time.

1. Last time, Matt (The Republican) quit campaigning with 3 weeks left.

2. Janet won't be able to put an ad out that says that Len is trying to allow child molestation by Mormons, like she did with Matt. Though, she will attack his Christianity.

3. We have the Gay Marriage ban on the ballot, this traditionally brings out more conservatives.

4. Last time, Conservative women voters bought her campaign topic claiming to be a moderate that represented women as Matt wouldn't be able to. This time she is less likely to get that segment of the population.

5. There was an Indian measure on the ballot that Indians were told if passed would get them more money. Therefore, Indians voted at a higher than traditional rate. This time it is less likely they will show up. Also, there were accusations of voter fraud on the Reservations ala' King County, which with changes in the voter law will make it harder to have fraud.

[...] I’m sure you’ve read about the September 11th memorial here in Phoenix. I heard a quote on the news from Janet Napolitano were she said, ""It is sad that he’s made a decisionto politicize this." She’s referring to Len Munsil because he held a press conference about the memorial. [...]

The downward slope of the memorial is similar to the downward slope of the Viet Nam war memorial, another memorial that seems intended to drag spirits downward and deathward. Similarly, the memorial's empty, circular shape looks like a zero, a nullity, as if it's meant to encircle 9/11 and call it nothing. <em>And we're entitled to wonder if this is precisely a memorial to the zero, one of the greatest inventions of the medieval Arabs.</em>

One should ask, "What is a memorial?". ("One" should ask, I said, not "everyone.") As a contribution to the answer, I say that a memorial serves a regime, and a just regime serves historical inquiry, along with other inquiries. However, the regime serves historical inquiry poorly, if it lets memorials become two-bit histories. I mean to say that one's historical inquiry is served better by everyone's mute reverence than by their lip-service to a science of history.

Wow, I bet 10 gallons of burning <em>jet fuel</em> would do some serious damage to that steel crescent, ya think?
