Video: Jihadis burn, drag Tucker’s and Menchaca’s bodies

It’s Steven Green, the GI accused of having organized the rape and murder of 14-year-old Abeer al-Janabi in Mahmudiya. Tucker and Menchaca belonged to the same company as the troops implicated in that incident, which naturally led some to connect the two in hopes of laying the blame where it always belongs — at the feet of Americans. Curiously, though, despite the enormous propaganda value, the earlier video of jihadis desecrating Tucker’s and Menchaca’s bodies made no mention of the incident at Mahmudiya. This new clip plays it to the hilt. I guess it takes a few months for the talking points to reach the Sunni triangle.
Believe it or not, there is a scrap of good news (relatively speaking) in this clip. Tucker’s corpse was decapitated in the earlier video, leaving us to wonder if they’d killed him by beheading him. This video proves that they didn’t: his body’s still in one piece at the beginning.
I was pretty mad when I watched them kick Menchaca in the head and tie their bodies to the back of a pick-up, but then I remembered we won’t be waterboarding Khaled Sheikh Mohammed anymore and I felt a lot better. To think how close we came to behaving like this.

Profitsbeard, my mother said the same thing after this incident. I feel the same way. Of course where are the leftys on this one? It’s important for those sob’s to give rights to those who want to kill us but at the same time seem to think it’s okay that our troops are killed in this manner and that they won’t be given GC rights by these kooks. I got into it with the liberal troll Jacquith who claims he’s not a liberal troll but I beg to differ. McCain (who I used to like) Warner, Graham, liberal trolls and talking heads-these people aren’t people-they are animals and should be treated as such. Why they must be treated with respect is beyond me-just look at the respect they showed these two brave Americans.

Forgot to mention-my husband saw the booby trapped remains and was one of the ones who had to guard them until the demo guys could first unbooby trap the road and then booby trap them so they could be moved and returned to their families. He just said he knew they were dead but couldn’t say anything when he called to tell me he loved me and our children more than anything in the world. I believe it’s something that will haunt him and all the others the rest of their lives.

DJ Dubya, Jeff was just being sarcastic, but that was pretty damn funny … “That was the nicest infidel we killed this week.” HA! Good one.
What really drives me nuts is that so many people are complety ignorant about who and what we’re fighting, 5 years after 9/11 and they STILL don’t get it. I had to educate a few of my liberal coworkers yesterday on the history of islam, how it spread, what they’re goals are, what the Caliphate is all about, what the koran teaches about infidels. Of course they didn’t believe it:
“Oh. that’s what the radical right wingers want you to think.”
Really? Why don’t you test out your little theory anywhere in the middle … of Detroit? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Libs: all talk, no action.

I don’t even know what to say. We, as a democracy founded in Judeo/Christian ethics and morality, still cannot understand the depths of depravity and savagery we are up against.
I was talking to the wife the other day about this war on terror and mentioned that the most “primitive” tribes of the Amazon basin, Borneo, etc., would never engage in such blind violence. Life means something to most rational people, regardless of their social sophistication or level of industrial development. By most rational people, I am, of course, not including the strict adherents of fundamental Islam.
It’s obvious now that Islam, in its basic form, represents a form of moral and spiritual retardation that no other social or religious structure can comprehend. We want to assume, in the 21st century, that there are certain rules of behavior that no one will violate. Apparently, there are not.
What we don’t fully recognize (as evidenced by the continuous outrage evoked by these types of acts) is that we are dealing with a psyche unable to embrace reason, or even recognize it. In fact, as the Pope sought to illustrate, such violence is the absolute antithesis of what modern society calls thought and reason. We are dealing with a death cult posturing as a legitimate religion. It is a system of organized hatred.
Perhaps when those Americans who still want to deny the problem see bodies desecrated like this in the streets of an American town at the hands of the RoP, they will wake up. By then it will be over. The face of evil has been revealed. Everyone should be forced to stare in its eyes.
Side note, Catie: our thanks to your husband and the thousands like him. They are the thin BDU line standing guard (literally) for civilization.

That’s what it really boils down to, we are different then they are, there is really no ther explanation for it. We have had and continue to have different values, mostly values pertaining to life. While we continue to value life as sacred and wouldn’t do that (now) to fallen soldiers/combantants, our enemies don’t even value likfe at all, why would anyone expect them to value the body of a fallen soldier or combantant whether it’s theirs or ours? Unfortuantly our difference are to great and their medieval values will never mesh with society. I believe won’t be able to bring them democracy or make them see the “light” but I still hold on to hope that we can do something good with proping up a decent government in Iraq.
We are certainly the more accepting, tolerant, compassionate and civillized of the two (by two I mean us and the “Middle East). Even in our most barbaric times we were never worse than this, as bad maybe, but never worse. What is different though is we manage to progress and move ahead and most of them are stuck in the 12th century. I disagree with mistreating prisoners and fallen soldiers in any scenario, but as the better of the two we can’t let emtions get the best of us, we must remain viligant, focused and methodical. It will be the only way we will be able to destroy these animals and rid the world of a truely great evil….

Will John McCain explain why these murdering, desecrating, lying Islamofacists didn’t wait until AFTER the soldier (shown above), who has been accused of rape and murder in Iraq, is tried and convicted, FIRST …before they “react” with sub-subhuman “vengeance”? Or don’t they believe in “innocent until proven guilty”?… along with any other precepts of a decent civilization?… After all, what with the jihadists say if the soldier is acquited? Will they make a video “apologizing” for the monstrous slaughter of Tucker and Menchaca?
