Video: Rosie says Bush calls people who disagree with him “evildoers”

Which is technically true. He used that term to describe Al Qaeda after 9/11, and Al Qaeda does in fact disagree with him.
So I guess Rosie’s right.
She also thinks Khrushchev’s “shoe” speech at the UN happened sometime in the 1970s, but we’ll give her a pass on that. More important is to watch and see which comment draws applause from the audience here — Hasselbeck’s response to O’Donnell or O’Donnell’s later response to her.
Regardless, I wouldn’t read too much into it. We’re talking about the View here. The audience is barely sentient.

Oh Barbara, what hast thou wrought???
honora on September 21, 2006 at 3:03 PM
Well we know one thing, Rosie definitely did not major in history.
Ian on September 21, 2006 at 3:04 PM
Just what we need: moral lessons from a comedian who equates Christians who annoy her with their sermons to Militant muslims who behead people on tv.
One Angry Christian on September 21, 2006 at 3:12 PM
Well, now we know what Bill Maher’s crowd does every weekday morning.
Rick on September 21, 2006 at 3:17 PM
The ideal candidate for a soundproof burka.
speed647 on September 21, 2006 at 3:18 PM
Actually, I think Rosie and Olbermann should do a show together. Now THAT would be entertainment!
CrimsonFisted on September 21, 2006 at 3:18 PM
But in Rosie’s case, he just calls her a fat, dimwitted slob.
JammieWearingFool on September 21, 2006 at 3:19 PM
I think what really is driving these morons crazy is Bush is too classy to even acknowledge them, let alone respond. The whiny punk who preceded Bush was so thinskinned at the slightest criticism, constantly moaning about Rush.
JammieWearingFool on September 21, 2006 at 3:21 PM
Examples of Clinton mentioning Rush?
honora on September 21, 2006 at 3:33 PM
(Puff, puff) Ohhhhh, what a rush!
Oh, wait, you mean Rush Limbaugh…
Mibrilane on September 21, 2006 at 3:47 PM
WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU GIVING ROSIE O’DONNELL A LARGER AUDIENCE BY DISCUSSING HER?
What this fat piece of feculent waste thinks about any single or collective subjects in the history of this planet, is BEYOND IRRELEVANT!
Soothsayer on September 21, 2006 at 3:53 PM
“It’s really not the right way to go.”
Way to take a stand, Rosie! Now if only she could work up that much moral outrage at people who are against homosexual marriage. Oh… wait… never mind.
Laura on September 21, 2006 at 3:56 PM
Allah, my friend, you’re slipping if you can’t work this Rosie link in there.
see-dubya on September 21, 2006 at 3:58 PM
Because there is nothing new on RealVerse today.
dinasour on September 21, 2006 at 4:05 PM
You’re joking, right? Limbaugh has been Clinton’s airwave’s arch nemisis since the early 1990’s. Clinton even called a radio talk show from Air Force One to pitch a bitch about Rush and others.
Do your own Google search, my original post with links never materialized after I hit the submit button…
SilverStar830 on September 21, 2006 at 4:06 PM
Wow the short term memory of some people, nice going SilverStar830. As for Rosie, who cares what that fat slob thinks. I guess Rick is right that we know what Maher’s audience does in the morning. I really can’t understand the fascination with either show to be honest but then again I do have a life. Of course if it appears that I’m here a lot, you’d be right but I am always checking to see if I got a message from my husband and I just don’t want to clean the bathrooms today so I get to see what the others in the world are thinking.
Catie96706 on September 21, 2006 at 4:22 PM
Switch to decaf dude.
speed647 on September 21, 2006 at 4:22 PM
Let’s start a pool.
When will “Babbah-Walters” pull the plug on her and kick her off?
One more week?
Two?
Four?
Eight?
georgej on September 21, 2006 at 4:30 PM
Why is Rosie on this show? Because she’s a fat lesbian? She clearly has the mentality of a 15 year old. I’m not saying that just because I can’t stand her and “disagree” with her (evildoer), I say it because her mind clearly works even more like a child’s mind than your average lib. I almost can’t stomach those clips.
RightWinged on September 21, 2006 at 4:52 PM
Wasn’t Rosie featured in a documentary about how retarded people often ride the bus since they can’t drive? Something like that, anyway… ;-)
Laura on September 21, 2006 at 5:06 PM
why does this clown even have a voice in the public square? i can’t remember if she has ever said anything that ever made any degree of sense. what bother’s me most is that the audience on the view applaudes her comments. i am not a male chauvinist but i find myself having to acknowledge that some women really are that dumb…
wizduels on September 21, 2006 at 5:07 PM
rimshot and thumbs up. hehehe
Mallard T. Drake on September 21, 2006 at 5:08 PM
LoL … man, I LOVE Allah P’s screen caps :P
SilverStar830 on September 21, 2006 at 5:08 PM
I think she will be kept on the show until after the fall elections. I can’t imagine middle-America moms will go for the constant references to Kelley-mommy.
The don’t ask-don’t tell of Ellen’s show seems to be a more acceptable approach.
NIMBY on September 21, 2006 at 5:11 PM
Rosie, Maher, Olberman…they are all examples of the perfect combination of ignorance and arrogance.
Mallard T. Drake on September 21, 2006 at 5:11 PM
How does Rosie stay out of the water that long? Won’t her blow-hole dry out?
fogw on September 21, 2006 at 5:22 PM
..and the dog ate my homework. I did a google and came up with nothing beyond what you posted.
honora on September 21, 2006 at 5:25 PM
Bad pie. Bad pie.
Sincerely,
Eric Cartman

Rosie is just a boob with boobs (such as they are).
GT on September 21, 2006 at 5:51 PM
LOL!!!!!!
The Ugly American on September 21, 2006 at 5:53 PM
Oh, okay, you’re going to be one of those, eh honora? Alright then, here’s a couple more. You asked for “Examples of Clinton mentioning Rush”… you got three quickies. He even attacks Limbaugh in his book. If you feel the need to try to unembarrass yourself, just do your own research then post an admission that your challenge was answered. If you don’t know how to use Google, try this link.
I am disinclined to cater to your whimsy any further.

Allahpundit – “The audience is barely sentient.”
Was that a sort of a veiled blond joke?
Kokonut on September 21, 2006 at 6:02 PM
More like a non-veiled liberal joke. Hey, Allah. The non-flattering rosie screencap looks better than most of her pictures.
Kid from Brooklyn on September 21, 2006 at 6:40 PM
the more she spews her anti-american / anti-christian crap, the better it is for Republicans to win on Nov.7th
Starblazer on September 21, 2006 at 7:37 PM
Reason 879 why I do not watch television anymore.
RobCon on September 21, 2006 at 8:24 PM
I just saw a headline saying “Nip / Tuck Episode gets racy with Rosie in it”. How on earth is that possible? Rosie and racy should not be in the same paragraph, much less the same sentence.
ArkCon on September 21, 2006 at 8:38 PM
Rosie in a Nip/Tuck episode? The gross-out possibilities are boundless.
Kid from Brooklyn on September 21, 2006 at 8:53 PM
More rosie…? puhleeeze!
Joe on September 21, 2006 at 9:09 PM
Too bad her brain isn’t as big as that fudge bank she’s sitting on.

If you’ve ever doubted the psychological concept of “projection,” here’s livid proof.
Dr. Charles G. Waugh on September 21, 2006 at 10:02 PM
Keep her on the air until after the November elections!
Her big mouth will do us a lot of good.
Lady Heather on September 21, 2006 at 10:24 PM
I think O’Reilly is on the View tomorrow, Friday.
shooter on September 21, 2006 at 10:42 PM
i can’t wait to see oreilly set her straight (pun intended).
wizduels on September 22, 2006 at 6:49 AM
O’Reilly’s a gutless nitwit; he will do no such thing. And Babs must be sick inside about having this butch on her show.
On the other hand, surely she must be good for ratings, at least so far? Sorry to always go all hetero here, but dang! that Elisabeth is sweet. You think maybe Rosie is just nursing a major rejection crush? Like the little boy who pulls the girl’s pig tails?
So if the over/under for dumping fat Rosie is election day, I’m betting on the over…
Jaibones on September 22, 2006 at 11:32 AM
Rosie is sucn an intelligent(?) person. I doubt that she was alive when Kruschev beat his shoe on the podium, and I also doubt she knows that the entire U.S.A. (Republicans and Democrats) were angry and appalled. Too bad democrats
today are so obsessed with BDS to know who their real enemies are.
gary on September 22, 2006 at 11:42 AM
Where did she come from and why? And can we make her go back there?
JamesVersusEveryone on September 22, 2006 at 12:10 PM
OK, Rosie and K. Olbermann do a show together?
Which person plays the part of the man?
