The sad thing is that Leno is the most moderate of the late night guys… but again his jokes aren’t that great. As anti-Bush as he is, Conan is still my favorite.

Yes, Conan is great. Leno used to be more conservative, he must have somt arm-twisting going on from the higher-ups.

I just hope Conan can keep his hilarity going and not cave to the unfunny left.

I watched the show that night. I only watch Leno on Mondays for the most part. I like the “Headlines” segment.

As skewed as his politics are sometimes, Jay Leno has at least tried a little bit to remain down to Earth on some things since he’s become the overrated bazillionaire Late Show host. Occassionally, he can see the forest for the trees and has the balls to call em as he see’s em.

I guess it’s tough to make the problems with Islam a joke. Of course no joke would be compete without painting President Bush as being a dope, even if there is no relation to the point. Yawn.

I thought the jokes were funny!!! The audience was lame! Probably a bunch of whipper-snappers, who don’t know who Rushdie is…and, therefore, just didn’t get it.

He wants a fatwa?

Just make a joke about the “prophet” Mohammad(pb&j) being a pedophile.

How about:

“What do you call a 54 year old guy who marries a 9 year old? No, not ‘Roman Polanski’… Mohammad, the guy who wrote the Koran.”

(Or are 9 year old girls NOT fair game in Iran?)

Jay’s humor is as lame as Islam is.

First off, I thought the jokes were funny, even the Bush knock. But then again, I’m a writer.

President Bush told the AMERICAN people that Islam is a Religion of Peace with all this and more being in the KORAN…..
8;12 When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
[9.5] So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. GEE, IT SEEMS AS IF THE “BEHEADERS” GOT THEIR IDEAS FROM THE “RELIGION OF PEACE!!!”
Koran 8:65 “O Prophet exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you 20 steadfast,they will overcome 200 and if there be of you a 100, they shall overcome a 1000, because the disbelievers are a folk without intelligence”

This Sura clearly exposes Islam to be a religion that not only encourages violence but actually makes it a sacred duty for Muslims to kill anyone who does not believe in the Muslim version of religion. Not only is the “All forgiving Allah” exhorting his followers to kill anyone who is not Muslim, but he is also saying that all non-Muslims are so stupid that they will be unable to defend themselves and therfore deserve death!

AND BUSH CALLS IT THE RELIGION OF PEACE. Thereby preventing the American Public from taking an ACCURATE look at the hundreds of thousands of Muslims the liberal state dept has allowed in this country since 9/11.

Mohammed married Aisha when she was six and “consummated” this “union” when she was NINE. If the root of the tree be bad then must not the tree be bad indeed? What can one make of faith derived from a pedophile? Could not one reasonably make the argument, when one considers the wealth of quotations exhorting his followers to murder, that Islam as expressed thru Mohammed, is Evil? Hmmmmm. Any questions? George Bush has misled the country on this one, in SOOTH.
