Pali music video: Get shot, get laid

Haven’t seen this before but Palestinian Media Watch says it’s an old chestnut of PA TV, in frequent rotation between 2000 and 2005 and suddenly revived again within the last month. It tells the heartbreaking story of a young Palestinian man who watches his beloved murdered in cold blood by the evil Jew; when he goes to her grave to mourn her, he too is felled by a Zionist bullet. Both are shot in the back, which is pretty much the only way to shoot at a Palestinian anymore without hitting a child being used as a human shield. All ends well when our hero enters paradise and is greeted by a coterie of virgins, among whom, of course, is his beloved. True love waits, you see. Until both partners are dead.

I’m not sure why there are only eight or nine virgins instead of the allotted 72. Either it’s because he didn’t die a heroic Jew-killin’ death or because they weren’t budgeted for more than a few extras. Regardless, I think it’s fair to say that the prospect of being hooked up in heaven with people you were interested in but couldn’t quite seal the deal with in life is a powerful lure indeed.
