How many times have you heard a lib moan about how ‘divisive’ the country has become (usually blaming that divisiveness on a conservative), yet will constantly show intolerance towards Christians, Jews, any black conservative; indeed, anybody who doesn’t embrace their view of the world. Whoops, except for radical Muslims… they like radical Muslims.

The fact that liberals spew this kind of racisim in the first place and then either remain silent or actually defend it (i.e. the “pointing out the obvious” remark) illustrates that they are not at all committed to racial equality as they piously claim, but use it only as another political tool.

That is what you just did in this Vent MM!
I have long admired people (MM comes to mind) who put themselves out there and take the bad with the good. When I read some of the slurs directed to MM, it disgusted me to no end. I honestly dont know if I would have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to it..so thank you to those who do..fighting the good fight.

I second labwrs thank you-I also appreciate Michelle and company for making a stand, and standing up against very vulgar attacks from the liberals and Democrats. You are definitely having an impact, and Hot Air fills a need for common sense and honest reporting of the issues of the day.

My first post — yeehaw! Anyway, this just shows the sad state of the left wing, plain and simple. Hypocrites to the end and about as tolerant of different opinions as the Taliban. God help us should these people have a majority in the House or Senate. They won’t get there with my vote!

Michelle said something at the end about the liberals’ moral bankruptcy.
They’re actually in a moral latrine, like rats wallowing in their medium, not even remotely trying to get out.
Every day brings a new surprise and every day I say to myself “they’ve now reached bottom”…then a new day dawns…
P.S. I don’t refer here to sexual morality, rather all the other interpretations of the word.

“Oreo” is one of my personal favorite epithets. It’s hard to be insulted by being called something so delicious.
After having that slur hurled at me by a “friend” I replied with a simple question that abruptly ended our conversation. The question:
“Tell me which is worse, having an adversary forbid you from sitting on the front seat of a bus 40 years ago because of the color of your skin, or having a friend forbid you from holding an opinion today for the same reason?”
