Actually a floater is an ophthalmological term. Imagine you not knowing that. You can flap your gums all you want about Clinton. The fact is, he left office with a 65% approval rating, and maintains that. So I guess this is just another case of you being right and most people being wrong. Must get frustrating. On the bright side you have all that scatological knowledge on your side.

Excuse, excuses, excuses. You can’t get the job done, get out of the way. No-one gets to step into the perfect job. Again, how have the Democrats stopped the President from fighting terrorism? (USS Cole–ok, RR pulling out of Lebanon–let’s try to keep this to post 9/11 activity. Oh and Teddy and the drowned girl–know you’ll want to throw that in the mix. It’s always adds so to the debate.)

The Patriot Act was re-authorized in March BTW. There was debate–from both sides of the aisle. This is how our system works. People and parties have diverse opinions that are discussed and negotiated to get a consensus that hopefully is the best of all POVs. You don’t like it, move. I have had it with people who feel they are the only ones whose opinions matter or have any merit. You’re looking for a monarchy or dictatorship, not a democratic republic.

PS, what exactly has W done to protect us from terrorism? Our borders? Our ports? Strengthened alliances? Isolated terror-friendly regimes? Reduced the number of terrorists? Capture bin Laden?

Seems to me you have plenty to work on on your side before you start going after the Democrats. But of course, it’s easier to blame someone else, right?

Let me take this moment, honora, to say that, though I am new to commenting here, I have been lurking for sometime. You always present an intellectual view of your side, and at times, make me think, as good dialog should. I am not as educated as you obviously are, so my arguments may seem more simplistic.

I did not see the entire Clinton/Stewart interview, so I do not know the reason for the visit. Was it cya for the “Path to 9/11″ tv movie, or was he promoting a book, or a charity, or as usual, himself.

You are of course aware that there are probably just as many right wing ditto-heads as there are left wing, the amusing part is that some on the right take pride in refering to themselves as such. What I find to be even funnier is when JS is being interviewed about his show and is asked why he lobs the softball questions to the more liberal of his guests, he defends is actions by saying, (not a direct quote) We are not a news show. We are a comedic parody of the news, but he will use his very public platform to skewer anyone who may have an opposing view than him.
