Ever notice that the increasing poll numbers aren’t being reporeted hourly like his low poll numbers? A few more of these and he may top 50%. I know he doesn’t care about polls, but ppl need to understand and he needs to be out there more like he was today. I love this guy!

The MSM is ignoring the drop in gas prices too. Funny, they reported every penny in increase as it was on the rise.

I think David Gregory is Dick Gregory’s illegitimate son. They both seem to read from the same anti-Bush playbook.

Lol… Dude, you’re right. I don’t want to get in to the whole “chimp” thing though, because we’ve heard the left call Bush “Chimpy” so much over the years… but damn it, you are right about Gregory.

Anyway, thanks for posting this clip AP, that was great. I only caught the “friendly paper” part on TV earlier, but the Gregory moments are priceless. I just wish you’d had the clip (or maybe it was two clips) of Gregory vs. Snow earlier in the week. Classic stuff. This has been a great week for making the White House Press folks look like total asses. The only sad part is that most people will never know about it.

Also, I have to mention that I totally agree with everyone who said something to the effect of “This is the Bush we want to see”. Where the hell is this guy 99% of the time? He’s great in settings like this and in town hall Q&As, etc. It’s when he’s on a script that he comes off as an idiot, I think because he tries to paraphrase rather than stick to the script and comes up with sentences that are all mixed up and come out weird. I may be going to far, but I’d almost like to see him say to Gregory “Look Dean, why don’t you take off the effing David Gregory mask, we all know it’s you in there… YAAAAAARGH”

Can you imagine someone asking Churchill a similar question during WWII, about Hitler? Q Mr. Prime Minister, Adolf Hitler, the German Chancellor, will actually be in the same vicinity as you next week. You say you want to give the message to the Germ…..

Yeah, there is nothing open to interpretation at all in “outrages against human dignity“, a phrase that serves as a model of specifity. Why would we want to give them something so vague and easily abused as a specific list of enumerated crimes?

Maybe Davey would prefer that we rewrite Article 4? It’s a little too specific about what consitutes a POW… maybe we should make that a bit more generic. That could be useful.

Their company line is “we are just trying to ask the tough questions” but many reporters are only trying to create new milestones in their own careers.

Gregory is aware that he’s developing a “tough guy” persona, so now everytime he asks the President a question, he’s really just auditioning for a big anchor job, or his own show. Seriously.

It would be great if, in his final days as President, Bush fielded some similarly moronic scenario (posed as a question) to Bush and Bush untied his tie, threw off his jacket and said, “Dave, I’m gonna’ kick your a$$!”
