France’s homegrown “terroristes” are a REAL problem. When I was there right before the war, the Govt had to shut down the “Peace” marches because they were too violent! WHO was committing all the violence? The Muslims! Against shop owners, vandalizing everything in mobstyle. Also robbing other youth in the marches of their purses and cellphones.
This will only solidify what the Muslim “youths” believe. All grievances are settled by violence..it’s the Jr Jihadi way!

The French citizenry are selfish deluded turds, but the French counter-terror guys are some of the best in the world. Right behind the Israelis and Arabs. And they cooperate with us better than any other EU country next to the UK on intel sharing and operations disruptions. They are major league hardasses. While I like to pick on the French as much as any, it must be noted that Chirac has openly threatened states like Iran with nuclear retaliation for acts of terrorism.

PARIS, Jan. 19 — President Jacques Chirac said Thursday that France was prepared to launch a nuclear strike against any country that sponsors a terrorist attack against French interests. He said his country’s nuclear arsenal had been reconfigured to include the ability to make a tactical strike in retaliation for terrorism.

“The leaders of states who would use terrorist means against us, as well as those who would envision using . . . weapons of mass destruction, must understand that they would lay themselves open to a firm and fitting response on our part,” Chirac said during a visit to a nuclear submarine base in Brittany. “This response could be a conventional one. It could also be of a different kind.”

The French president said his country had reduced the number of nuclear warheads on some missiles deployed on France’s four nuclear submarines in order to target specific points rather than risk wide-scale destruction. [Snip]

In this he joins the United States in postulating at which point that the retaliation against terrorists will include nuclear weapons. See: National Security Presidential Directive 17.

And NSPD 17 clearly puts terrorists and their state sponsors on notice that America WOULD use nukes in response to any WMD.

Are we giving away Europe in a fit of absentmindedness? Maybe I should “fact-check” Mark Steyn before relying on him, but I’ve been inclined all along to accept his representations about the near or entire irretrievability of Europe’s demographic decline and its passing into muslim control. But if he’s right that the Europeans are losing Europe, it seems the Americans should consider whether they really must allow muslims to inherit it and turn it into a sewer like their homelands. If it continues to become clearer and clearer that the Europeans and their liberal democracies are passing away, it seems much better for the Americans to take Europe for themselves and turn it into States 51 through 80, say, than for them just to stand back and let the imams acquire Europe, European technology, and millions of European dhimmis.
