Back in the 60s, WBAI was big on white radicalism and black power. A famous incident occurred on Julius Lester's radio show. Lester got his guest, Leslie Campbell, to read a student's anti-semitic poem that began "Hey, Jewboy, with that yarmulke on your head / You pale-faced Jew boy - I wish you were dead."
