Nutroots agree: Olby’s Ground Zero rant = the best sex ever

See Johnny’s update. Praise from dKos was to be expected, but when you’ve won the endorsement of “Americunt,” then, my friends, you know you’ve accomplished something special. TV Newser pans for reaction gold at Technorati and comes up with a few nuggets. Sample: “The man is Edward R. Murrow.” Greg Tinti has video, commentary, and links.
Here’s a little bonus wisdom from Olby for you. Possibly the smartest thing he’s ever said.
In honor of Olby, let’s play a game. Match the column to its author:
1. Bin Laden’s Victory
2. Like all dates, Sept. 11 will fade away
3. 9/11: Not Just a Memory
A. Hussein Shobokshi, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat
B. Richard Cohen, Washington Post
C. Alex Beam, Boston Globe
And a pair of quotes from the heroes of our age: “[H]e’s Beelzebub — and a dumb one.” And “go home, gw, and let us just get on with living our lives in the city that was attacked / due to your pre 9-11 ineptitude and incomptetence.” The preciousness of the lowercaps in that last one makes it my favorite. Self-effacing yet also boldly nonconformist towards the rules of written English. Kkudos!

I would watch Olbermann but, I normally perform a very complicated operation involving toenail clippers, a hairdryer and lots of paperclips at that time.

Is he still on the air? I thought maybe MessNBC would just run “To Catch a Nutroot” er uh “To Catch a Preditor 4,000″ instead. Better chance for actually ratings.

Tried to play the clip and the message “Video Clip Not Available” came up on the PMSNBC web site. Have they pulled it?

This SOB infuriates me with his pompous attitude! For the record mister My-s@$%-don’t-stink….
Lincoln did not dedicate any monument at Gettysburg, stupid!! He made a few appropriate comments at the dedication of the military cemetery.
Why isn’t there a memorial at ground Zero Keith, baby? Because those like you wanted to remember and memorialize the CAUSE of the murder, not those who were killed by their actions.
And I’m sorry Keith, boobla, but the people who were murdered on 9/11 did not sacrifice anything, they lost their lives. The men and women in our military, and especially those who lost their lives in the war on terror, sacrifice. Those who died on 9/11 were in the wrong place at the wrong time and the people they left behind received MILLIONS.
Unlike those who “gave the last full measure of devotion” in the war on terror. All that their loved one received was a CMH (Coffin w/Metal Handles), a U.S. Flag, and a few thousand dollars. Where’s the friggin justice in that Keith, honey?
And while I’m ticked off, we bury a soldier under a Cross, or a Star of David for a few hundred dollars, if that. Why the people who died on 9/11 need a billion dollar memorial is shameful and disgusting.

I find it interesting that liberals claim to have the momentum (at least the polls show that), but yet they can’t seem to generate any ratings for their shows (Mathews and Olby to name a couple). Go figure.

If he’s still on the payroll come election day, it might be interesting to see his behavior during MessNBS’s 24-hour DNC promotion that day.
I might need to start emailing to clown again. He’s about to pop.

Working OT for the Idiotarian of the Year.
The funny thing is seeing the nutroots proclaim the antics of an insane man to be brave and courageous.
Do not confuse insanity with courage.

Sorry. Figured nutroots is nutroots.
Gimme’ the netiquette cluebat. What’d I do wrong?

The DUmmy admins also pitched in for the Olbygasm:
Have You Seen Keith Olbermann’s Commentary Yet?
From: Skinner
Date: Sep-12-06 04:11 PM
Hello,
We apologize for this interruption, but the DU Admins were so blown away by Keith Olbermann’s watershed commentary last night (Sept. 11, 2006) that we’ve decided to take unprecendented action and send this special private
message to each of our members to let you know about it.
This morning, The Nation called Keith Olbermann “without a doubt the best news anchor on television today.” We agree. Video of his commentary is available at the link below. Please email it to your friends, family, co-workers, elected representatives, and anyone else who you think needs
to see it. Keith’s commentary deserves a wide audience.

Absolutely Brilliant my friend simply brilliant! KO is the same type of idiot like Charles Schumer, Murtha, or Durbin the Turban, they tie our hands with their stupid liberal rules of “engagement” and then blame us for the lack of progress.

I was thinking more along the lines of Walter Duranty. What a self-righteous, delusional tool. His audience share shows the market for his KosKidz™-style ravings, and we would all do well to bear that in mind before worrying about November.
I’ll say it again, when we get after those clowns on the left and challenge their ludicrous, contradictory baloney, and highlight their suicidal security ‘policies’, we will again hold both houses.
Being a hero of Kos has meant, based upon past events, electoral disaster. They make a lot of noise, but when the chips are down, people know a psycho when they see one.

You’re just jealous – The Nation says that “Keith Olbermann is without a doubt the best news anchor on television today.”
Mr. Olbermann, we will never forgive the really, really big empty hole in your big head.
Entelechy on September 12, 2006 at 6:35 PM
Olby, *sigh* … I used to think you were funny and witty on ESPN (Remember Dick Trickle, Olby?) Now, I’m afraid we are just watching another talking head lose his mind on national TV. Sad… very sad…
Sacwannabe on September 12, 2006 at 8:29 PM
Olberman is impossible to watch. He can preen just sitting there. This seems to be a common problem for TV “personalities.” Not reporters, journalists, entertainers, essayists or pundits–personalities. What a light weight.
He really seemed to think he had composed a masterpiece instead of a self-parody. .

Olbermann makes me glad I work evenings. For repeats I keep clicker in hand when surfing-half a second of KO is too much. Libs are always in trouble for believing their own press, their own delusions. KO is Ed Murrow? Even Murrow wasn’t Murrow. He believed his own press too. Has anyone else wondere d about the ratings for Al Gore’s “Current” channel? They must rival MsNBC for Bottom dweller.
Doug on September 13, 2006 at 1:48 AM
Every time I watch something with Keith Olberman, the only thing I can think is: This man is a monster.
This guy is the type of monster that would hide under beds or in closets to jump out and terrify 4 year old children.
Everything that comes out of his mouth is vile. I don’t see how anyone could stand to listen to him. It’s like someone found a way to convert sewage into sound.
