Dick Gregory says Bush assassination film may prove prophetic

Not so much truth to power as John Wilkes Booth to power:
Gregory, a harsh critic of the United States and one-time presidential candidate, told a talk radio show host the documentary-style film “Death of a President” may be on target.
“And when this happens this here documentary is going to look like they was prophesying,” Gregory told XM 169 The Power Host Mark Thompson.
Gregory also told Thompson he is already on record saying Bush will “get busted” and have to leave office early.
“He is not going to finish his term out,” he told Thompson, who was broadcasting live from the Congressional Black Caucus’ 36th Annual Legislative Conference being held in the District.
Gregory’s black and a comedian, which means his “authenticity” rating is off the charts. I’m surprised the left hasn’t capitalized on that more, frankly. If you want to mainstream insane ideas like killing Bush or comparing jihadis in Iraq to the minutemen, don’t enlist homely white suburbanites like Michael Moore or Cindy Sheehan to be your spokesmen. Enlist Dave Chappelle or Chris Rock. Everything they say is true, simply by virtue of the fact that they’ve said it.
British lefties are a little brighter than ours, though. Roger Friedman was at the screening of “Death of a President” at the Toronto Film Festival and filed his report yesterday. Spoilers ahead so don’t read on if you’re planning to see the movie — which, thanks to Newmarket Films, you’ll soon have a chance to do. Friedman:
I will cut to the chase. After Bush is killed and Dick Cheney becomes president, it takes about seven months for law enforcement to arrest a Syrian-American for the assassination. He’s tried and convicted. In the meantime, we meet a black soldier recently returned from Iraq. He is initially suspected but later dismissed. Then it turns out his brother died in the war, and their distraught father has killed himself because of it. The soldier goes through his father’s things and realizes that his grieving dad was Bush’s real killer. He held the president responsible for his son’s death.
Authenticity to the hilt: a grieving parent and black. If it were a white assassin, even the father of a dead soldier, we might still dismiss him as a crackpot. But a black assassin? That’s not a bullet, baby. That’s justice.
Johnny Dollar has audio of an interview Friedman did with Matt Drudge a few nights ago. Quote: “I objected to a black man being used as the victim here in order to assuage the Arab feeling. I thought that was completely wrong.” Indeed.
The BBC says people applauded at the end. That’s true, says Friedman — but they only applauded a little. Whew!

Wow, now it’s got street cred. The Olbyloons will be camping out to see this one.
Wait until they find out that Cheney will actually be President after Bush appoints him his successor. Then they can have a sequel circa 2010.

Not like they haven’t tried… twice.

I understand that Bill Clinton is on the phone with his friends at this moment trying to stop the showing of this movie……What?…..He’s not?……..Never mind.

Damn my earlier prediction was that the assassin would be a soldier, Iraq War vet suffering from PTSD. I was close. Any of those writing jobs still available.

Gregory is one sick puppy . . . dangerous, but none the less sick.

Don’t they send the secret service to people’s homes who talk about stuff like this?
on another note:
I know how old Allahpundit is.

This film was shown in Toronto, and Clinton was in Toronto in the last several days for one of his nonstop birthday parties.
Can someone find out if Clinton attended this?

Since we’re discussing insane people:
Leftist/Islamist coinvergence continues.
Chavez: Theory that U.S. orchestrated Sept. 11 attacks ‘not absurd’
Let me guess, he just saw Loose Change.

As an African American I’ve been ashamed of this communist loving piece of feculent waste, for years. In the chest of a liberal beats the heart of a coward. They’re all the little nothings that got their lunch money taken as kids, they wouldn’t fight for themselves then and they won’t now. You think Maher and the rest of these liberals who’ve been floating the trial balloon of “why don’t we just convert to Islam” are kidding? They aren’t. These cowardly punk asses have been so “bent over” by their continued advocation of Sodomy that they are about as good in a fight as tits on a bull. So weak and spineless are they that they even seek to change the meaning of , RUNNING AWAY IN MIND NUMBING TERROR WHILE SHITTING THEIR YELLOW LIBERAL PANTS. They now want this to be called “RE-DEPLOYMENT”.

AP told us a while ago how old he is…no extortion…

Allah has floated around at least three different ages since the inception of this blog. If he ever did a Vent I expect him to use a wrestling mask and a voice distorter. No knock, I’d do the same.
Nothing like the unimpeachability of absolute moral authority, huh?

Dick Gregory is “SO OVER.” He and Jimmah need to be yanked off the stage quickly. The list of other yammering fools is too long to list here, but I know that most of us would agree about them if we started to compare names.

“
this here documentary is going to look like they was prophesying,”this here documentary is going to look like they was enciting,
There, I fixed it for you Dick. Well, I didn’t fix the grammar… Just corrected the outcome.

He’s just that. A Dick.

THAT DICK David Gregory is one sick, twisted and prissy girl.
doingwhatican on September 12, 2006 at 8:02 PM
What a bunch of sickos. I imagine the only reason that they aren’t locked up for their own protection is because there isn’t enough room.
‘Gregory also told Thompson he is already on record saying Bush will “get busted” and have to leave office early.’
Busted for what? Conjuring up Katrina and making it only kill black people? Flying both planes into the World Trade Center while rigging all three buildings with explosives all by himself? Invading Afganistan, a peaceful country that had never done anything wrong? For making up that story about our good friend and great ally Saddam so he could take us into another war?
You know, the worst part about that little rant is that if I were a liberal, I would have said the same stuff, only without the sarcasm.

Why didn’t they just have Cindy Sheehan be the one who pulled the trigger?
Mallard T. Drake on September 12, 2006 at 10:07 PM
Dang. I thought Dick Gregory had died from a terminal case of irrelevance years and years ago. Like Jimmah.
Benthoven on September 13, 2006 at 12:18 AM
I thought he had died. He was like a twig the last time I saw him a few decades ago.
Is he really alive, or is this some kind of puppet?
