There is a dawning realization — as I look back at the pictures of Val and Joe reveling in their own celebrity — that they will be driven ever crazier as their whore media friends refuse their calls and ostracize them.

Joe will make a side deal with Playboy and pimp Valerie out, and then…Valerie admirers will (sadly) find out that she’s not all that hot.

Matthews started with some lies. He got a reaction and told more garbage. Then he got charged up daily by telling and repeating said lies. He recived so much energy and false power from this BS that he started to believe it to his core. Obsessed , dilusional, illusional, and just plain frickin CRAZY, he could not back down. He has convinced himself of his own lies like a 3 year old child does.
Blame it on the White House or Bush or Rove. Someone will buy it. Even now with the truth staring at him like a large ZIT on his nose, he denies it and denies himself of any hope of honor, ever again. Send Jihad Cindy to him. What those two together might do to themselves would save the rest of us the effort.

I’ve said it before about Matthews and I’ll say it again: par for the course.

Did people actually think that he would be a stand up guy and admit he was wrong? Anyone who thought this nut would continue coverage on a story that he was proven to be wrong about has alot more to worry about than Chris Matthews.

What exactly is the story here? “Left Wing Goofball Refuses To Acknowledge Facts”? Or maybe “Newsflash! Chris Matthews Found to be Idiot!”? How about “Everyone Look At Me, I Can Type!”?

Oh well… a slow news day is hardly HotAir’s fault.

A: It could be but the problem is that Dick Cheney has so many apologists it’s ridiculous. So many journalists like Bob Woodward will say or do anything just to get access to him. And then all the people in the administration too.

What a chickenshit he has become – to impugn Bob Woodward, out of professional jealousy and because he’s not the partial pundit who meets his own ’standards’.

The embarrassing end to a trumped-up left-wing anti-Bush non-scandal frightens and confuses him.

I hope you were kidding – he’s not that dumb and scared – it just doesn’t meet his leftist agenda any more.

I used to actually watch him a few years ago – he’s stooped very low and is now hopelessly depressed about his party’s state and future. He no longer thinks, though given a witty mind, but reacts (politically) instinctively – very sad for his background and profession. Good thing he’s not a reporter. What did I just say? Not much difference there…
