Video: Michelle talks Millergate on O’Reilly

The boss returned to the Factor last night and was handed a gift by the big dog: an opportunity to talk about her expose of Miller, the unofficial beer of la reconquista. Bill was skeptical at first, but once MM worked the PAC connection, it all came together.

Also mentioned: “poo(h)-poo(h).”

In attendance as usual was the lovely KP, with whom I exchanged cordial e-mails last night after she beat me with a sack of doorknobs on her blog yesterday afternoon. Entirely unfairly, I might add. As you’ll see, Bill accuses her of being an alcoholic. Does she admit it? Watch and find out!

Great job making your point Michelle, as always.

vcferlita on September 6, 2006 at 9:27 AM

Great segment last night, Michelle. That other girl… I forget her name… was sure floundering over Miller-time.

Good post AP… and yes, any chance to hear Michelle use the term “poo(h)-poo(h)” (and correctly I might add) is always worth tuning in. That one, and “boo-freakin’-hoo” are becoming endearing trademarks. Truly funny, in my opinion.

Cary on September 6, 2006 at 9:42 AM

Way to turn the heat up, Michelle!

Rumsfeld chose to come out and drop the “A-bomb” in a speech so he — and his supporters — should be able to start saying who they are talking about.

Kirsten, I have two words for you: Jack Murtha.

OK, two more: Ned Lamont.

Ok, just two more, same ones Bill gave you: Howard Dean. Here he is talking about how Bush hasn’t done anything about Iran. Oh, and he thinks Rummy was attacking voters, so take that for what it’s worth. But he doesn’t have a plan other than John Kerry’s failed “We’re gonna do something different!” plan. He does seem to have some ideas about stopping the “Republican War on America’s Families”. Oh wait, no he doesn’t. I think he just wanted to say “Republican War on America’s Families”.

At some point, conservatives are going to have to come to terms with the fact that there are Democrats who clearly see the threat of terrorism, but just simply don’t agree with the way the President has handled the war in Iraq.

They’re doing a lousy job of demonstrating that seriousness. If you think there’s a real terrorism threat, and then complain about things like the Terrorist Surveillance Program it doesn’t ring true. The problem with the discourse falls mostly on the left side of the aisle with those who have decided that everything the Bush Administration does, has done or will ever do is a crime and an affront to America. The unceasing criticism is never constructive, it’s only destructive and it’s always partisan.

If it’s just about bad strategy in Iraq, tell us what the good strategy we should be using is. “Something different!” is not good enough. We know Democrats want a new direction, on pretty much everything. What is it? And why won’t the Democrat leaders tell us what it is?

Pablo on September 6, 2006 at 9:53 AM

Dance Kirsten, Dance. Fun to watch you, but little substance.

Fortunately Michelle is there keeping the whole segment “real”.

Lawrence on September 6, 2006 at 9:57 AM

As always, Malkin > Powers

And yeah, about the “heavy drinker” comment, I was waiting for some commentary on that from you AP… By the way, what’s up with this (from her post)?

I took a few days to respond to this post because I was more than a little furious by the following statement from ALLAHPUNDIT

AP, you smooth operata!

RightWinged on September 6, 2006 at 10:02 AM

Kirsten seemed a little at a loss for words when O’Reilly asked her about Miller Low Life. Sad, so sad.

Go Michelle !!

Isn’t it past time you two kiss and make up?

Valiant on September 6, 2006 at 10:14 AM

To be fair and not knowing k.p.(sorry, Allahpundit), I read her blog to see what she had to say and how she said it.

Guess what?

SORRY, k.p., GIVE ME MICHELLE ANYTIME.

tormod on September 6, 2006 at 10:14 AM

KP said that there wasn’t a member of Congress that thought 9/11 was an inside job. Didn’t Cynthia McKinney open something to investigate just that? Is she not a Democratic member of Congress?

JasonG on September 6, 2006 at 10:18 AM

Isn’t it past time you two kiss and make up?

We did make up. No kissing, though, alas.

Allahpundit on September 6, 2006 at 10:19 AM

“But other places have been attacked!” So KP wants us to police the world does she? Or is she blaming Bush?

And, could the boss get any more adorable? Damn but I can’t save that screen shot!

Dread Pirate Roberts VI on September 6, 2006 at 10:35 AM

This is very upsetting. I now have to boycott my favorite beer.

pullingmyhairout on September 6, 2006 at 10:38 AM

The assumption that because I am a Democrat you immediately decide I have no credibility (”don’t take the threat seriously”)…

KP needs some help here. She’s the one making assumptions and immediate decisions. When someone says “US out of Iraq” and also refers to “freedom fighters” and “resistance”, we have a right to think they are on the wrong side, not just arguing the best strategy to achieve our common goals.

KP likes to make a big deal about no elected member of Congress espousing 9-11 conspiracy theories, etc. (which may not be true just now; McKinney is still in office). But she can’t deal with the Lamont Effect: Those elected Dems must respect the nutroots’ authoritah.

The Monster on September 6, 2006 at 10:39 AM

Unfortunately for KP, she comes across as nothing more than a DNC talking head, she needs to do her homework like Michelle does. She was completely unprepared on the Miller issue, and seems absurdly unaware that the “fringe” has morphed into the DNC. Where was she during the whole Lamont/Lieberman thing?

CrimsonFisted on September 6, 2006 at 10:40 AM

All politics aside, let me say that, the reality is, Miller Beer products taste like panther piss. Especially the lite beers.

moc23 on September 6, 2006 at 10:53 AM

This is very upsetting. I now have to boycott my favorite beer.

pullingmyhairout, we need to talk about getting you some malt-based upgrades.

Pablo on September 6, 2006 at 11:02 AM

As someone who works for Miller’s competitor, I’m getting the word out all over the place. Job security.

StephC on September 6, 2006 at 11:16 AM

OK, I take my above statement back. Seems like my company gives scholarships to illegals. Dammit.

StephC on September 6, 2006 at 11:24 AM

Not much of a debate there … kind of reminded me of the last scene from The Karate Kid, in which Michelle is closing in for the kill while Powers teeters in her “Crane Kick” stance before falling on her ass.

Referee indicates to Michelle, says, “Point – Winner!!”

- And the crowd goes wild.

Spurius Ligustinus on September 6, 2006 at 12:10 PM

Really, Allah, you need to stop thinking about KP with your bulbous naughty parts (to paraphrase the Church Lady). Once you do you’ll see that she really ain’t all that. And she’s certainly no intellectual match for da boss.

thirteen28 on September 6, 2006 at 12:15 PM

Is KP suggesting that other countries elect President Bush and they’ll be safe too?

jtdavies on September 6, 2006 at 1:15 PM

Doesn’t K.P. ever get tired of gettin’ her butt kicked by Michelle?

And what a nice picture!

Tony737 on September 6, 2006 at 1:20 PM

Miller Beer products taste like panther piss.

But is it “less filling” than panther piss?

KP, nice try, but seriously though, Dems and National Security are mutually exclusive. How can anyone take any Dem seriously on this issue? Especially when you have Howard the Donkey, John-Boy Kerry, Granny Pelosi, gamblin’ Harry Reid, Ned Flanders Lamont, Cynthia McKookey, Dick Polpot Durbin, and the one who probably contributes the most to Miller – Teddy “Splash” Kennedy – just to name a few. KP, the far left has made it a point to slam any Dem that happens to be strong on National Security (See Joe Lieberman). To use one of the left’s buzzwords, where’s the “diversity” of ideas? Soros, Michael Moore, Yentil, and the rest of the leftists have hijacked the Dems. It just doesn’t get any worse than that.

Rick on September 6, 2006 at 3:12 PM

Ummmm, Michelle looks super fine in this video…..:)
Made my day…..

Thanks for the clip…Malkin as always makes her points
perfectly….

dec5 on September 6, 2006 at 6:07 PM

pullingmyhairout, we need to talk about getting you some malt-based upgrades.

Exactly. And Sam Adams is just one of the many excellent beers that domestic craft breweries have been cranking out in recent years. Taste alone is reason enough to leave the mega-giant piss-water beers behind. This just seals the deal.

speed647 on September 6, 2006 at 9:02 PM

Michelle ran that interview as she did not allow Bill to stifle her while making her points.

Hurras for Michelle!
