Nuke-seeking Holocaust-denying arch-terrorist to address UN

Good. The organization’s basically just a legitimacy bank for illiberal regimes to draw on when they need political capital. Watching it cut this singular bottom-feeder a check by letting him speak will make quite an impression on some of its western creditors.

In the long run, the UN is, shall we say, a credit risk.

Besides, he’s spoken there before. Remember the “magic light” that progressives didn’t freak out about because Ahmadinejad’s not a Christian? Here’s a PDF transcript of his remarks to the General Assembly last September; wade through the hosannas about how Iran is the embodiment of “true democracy” and you’ll find these two passages:

After September 11, a particular radical group was accused of terrorist activities — although it was never explained how such huge intelligence gathering and security organizations failed to prevent such an extensive and well planned operation.

And:

From the beginning of time, humanity has longed for the day when justice, peace, equality and compassion envelop the world. All of us can contribute to the establishment of such a world. When that day comes, the ultimate promise of all Divine religions will be fulfilled with the emergence of a perfect human being who is heir to all prophets and pious men. He will lead the world to justice and absolute peace.

Justice and peace.

Here’s some more justice and peace for you from earlier this year. Keep drawing off that bank, buddy. The more, the better.

Update: Hot.

Because when you’re planning to have Islam be the only divine religion left, it doesn’t hurt to pay lip service to the others’ equivalence.

Will ANYONE from our pathetic MSM comment on the fact that Ahmadinejad, Chavez, and scores of other fascist murderers are as safe as in their mothers’ arms when visiting this “great Satan” America. How safe would our president be in theirs? Uh… okie dokie then.

It would be the ultimate poetic justice if terrorists flew a plane into the U.N. building while he was speaking…

I know, I know, ain’t gonna happen.

Well maybe on a South Park episode…

He ought to fit in well at the Useless Nations. They also suffer from cranial anal inversion disorder.

I have to wonder if he is appearing there to also “invite” member nations to “convert” to his form of Islam as well?

He will have nothing to fear coming here and he knows it. Moonbats at the UN will readily embrace him, right to the point of their deaths when he launches his nukes at them as well.

LewWaters on September 6, 2006 at 11:48 PM

Ahmadinejad has the answer for the West - the fighting is over, so long as we convert to his God.

The U.N. is the ‘perfect’ forum to spread his message. A potentate among mostly other wishful potentates, mostly united against the U.S.

How will this go over with the European and other secularists?

Entelechy on September 6, 2006 at 11:54 PM

I want to tie up each “world leader” who’s had anything to do with leaving this clown Ahmadinejad alive, and abuse him until he asks my forgiveness for his neglect. I despise Ahmadinejad, but he’s also taught me to despise the “rulers” whose venality and weakness he’s exposed. An hour or two of sodomy and a tearful apology wouldn’t begin to repay the debt they each owe me for wasting my time and attention with a fool like Ahmadinejad. I’d let the matter go after that, though, if each of them promised to assassinate Ahmadinejad or nuke him if necessary, and promised to be prompt about such matters in the future.

Indeed. The end of fighting, and the beginning of subjugation.

The “secularists” think the Potentate will treat them as equals. Won’t they be surprised when the Potentate places them at the front of the line for forced “conversions”, and then life-long dhimmi servitude to “the chosen” Muslim rules.

I’m no fan of Powers, but what is this all about:

Debate Bush?? Is he on crack? He’s a terrorist. No American President is going to “debate” him. What is there to debate anyway? Gee, should you or shouldn’t you stop arming a terrorist organization and stop saying you want to annihilate Israel?

I don’t know that I’ve really heard many on the right say “He’s a terrorist” or go off on such a rant. I we sure some far righty didn’t hack her blog? Now I’m off to puke once again, over having had to read the name of the blog… “Powers-Point”…

RightWinged on September 7, 2006 at 12:17 AM

Powers is a lefty hawk. She’s on the level.

Allahpundit on September 7, 2006 at 12:18 AM

isn’t him addressing a violation of religion and state?

Defector01 on September 7, 2006 at 1:53 AM

He looks like PeeWee Herman in Drag.

Kini on September 7, 2006 at 3:58 AM

hmm, can we make sure the metal detectors and sniffrs are turned off for his flight?

Here’s my personal favorite…

1) Break out the old files and firmly establish that Dinnerjacket IS the guy who was abusing American hostages back in ‘79.

2) Let him and Chavez land in NYC.

3) Frogmarch Dinnerjacket off to Gitmo.

Quite the itinerary, eh? Havana – NYC – Gitmo. All in the same day.

Meanwhile, UPenn hosts Bibi;

Netanyahu: Iran’s aims must be combated

Netanyahu, who is the chairman of Israel’s conservative Likud party and served as the country’s minister of finance in 2003, spoke at Huntsman Hall to an audience of several hundred amid dozens of police officers and Israeli secret-service agents. All who attended the event were required to arrive early to undergo a thorough security inspection.

In his address, Netanyahu argued that conservative economic policies are essential to stimulate growth.

“The crucial thing for economic growth is an environment where it pays to innovate, invest and work,” he said.

Such an environment, he said, is attainable through tax cuts, radical reform to enhance market competition and government spending reduction.

And you thought Israel was socialist? He sounds like Ronald Reagan.

Standing in the way, he said, is militant Islam.

“Certain portions of the Islamic world have a seething resentment of Western growth,” he said. “We can no longer rely on our Western assumption that religious wars have passed from the world.”

Netanyahu warned the audience of Iran’s potential nuclear capability and suggested that Israel is merely one potential target of Iranian aggression. He stressed a need for economic vision, power and political will to combat an Iranian threat.

“The power ultimately comes from the people who transcend partisan interest and realize that lives are at stake,” he said.
—–
Zach Fuchs, a sophomore in Wharton and the College, said he was impressed with Netanyahu.

He is the Winston Churchill of our times,” he said.

Haile Selassie’s address to the League of Nations after the Italian invasion of Ethiopia was one of the defining moments on the road to appeasement. In a perverse way we might be seeing the flip side of the same coin here. Selassie, the victim, gained stature but failed to get support from the League as it demonstrated that it was powerless to stop the fascists. Now we have Ahmadinejad, the Islamofascist, addressing the UN which will prove equally incompetent at stopping this threat. Once they allowed Arafat to bring in his gun it was all over.

3) Frogmarch Dinnerjacket off to Gitmo.

Could’ve happened if Giuliani were still mayor.

Exactly. And McCain was fired on in Russia.

CrimsonFisted on September 7, 2006 at 9:55 AM

Probably we should all watch wearing sunglasses to avoid being blinded by the penumbras of light that will be emanating from his head during the speech.

Blaise on September 7, 2006 at 11:09 AM

He led the mission that invaded our embassy in Iran which is an act of war. We should invade the UN and capture him!!!!!

LZVandy on September 7, 2006 at 2:15 PM

Why doesn’t the United Staes declare war on these idiots for taking of our embassy and the 444 days of endless
“Nightline” shows??

gary on September 7, 2006 at 3:49 PM

OK, time to boot the UN from our soil. Let them hire hookers and preach hate against this country in another country. The thought of our tax dollars paying for security for the world’s tyrants makes me sick.

I hope Bush doesn’t go on the same day. Amadjihad might blow himself to martyrdom at the UN. Nah…
