David Gregory: Sincere jackass

I too used to think Gregory’s outbursts at the White House pressers were deliberate “theatrics so that Keith Olbermann will play them on Countdown.”
Not so, my dear Spruiell. Today’s merriment came at a gaggle, and there are no cameras at a gaggle. And so we’ve learned something, haven’t we?
He’s not putting on a show for Olby. He really is that big of a petulant jackass.
He’s also a fool for having messed with the King. Nice job takin’ care of business, Snowman.

How does this guy get a press seat? I would send him home for good.
DannoJyd on September 5, 2006 at 9:44 PM
Poor little monkeyboy.
JammieWearingFool on September 5, 2006 at 9:49 PM
Am I the only one who wants to backhand this guy? I simply can’t stand seeing/hearing him ever. I would rather listen to Howard Dean and John Kerry tell me they “have a plan” for 24 hours straight than listen to one word out of David Gregory’s mouth… is it just me? Maybe, but I REALLY can’t stand him. He’s such an effing nobody but at the same time he’s a condescending douche who’s got a bigger metaphorical head than Cavuto has a physical one.
RightWinged on September 5, 2006 at 9:54 PM
My husband said if he ever would show his sorry ass in Iraq it would be all that everyone he knows could do to keep from killing that fool.
Catie96706 on September 5, 2006 at 9:58 PM
Just because Gregory denies being a stooge for the DNC doesn’t mean he’s not. I sometimes wonder if OSHA standards for door width weren’t based on the size of this guy’s head.
MCPO Airdale on September 5, 2006 at 10:04 PM
I’m surprised he didn’t say “don’t point your finger at me” in French, to TS. He’s jealous of Tony’s position. He’d give anything to hold it in liberal admin.
Also, he’s a narcissist:
On item #2, however, he’s still stuck in that infantile developmental stage…
Entelechy on September 5, 2006 at 10:05 PM
Maybe Katie will have him on and be the shoulder to cry on.
Two self absorbed posers.

I just hope it was the middle finger.

To The Snow Man: Thank you. Thank you very mcuh.”
And to Gregory: go home and wank it. You’ll fell better.
auspatriotman on September 5, 2006 at 11:09 PM
Snow is the mouthpiece of the lies of this administration and needs to be called out. Why is that not important to us as a democracy?
duffyb on September 5, 2006 at 11:12 PM
Gregory is the ultimate and original “monologue-ist”.
Absolutely narcissistic, but ‘monologue-ist’ is so perfect for him, and all like him.. left, far left, etc. They will not answer a question nor let you answer one of theirs. Always interrupting then distracting by saying “you have to” , “You hafta” , “You gotta” , “you must” as they change the subject somehow. They do this in all conversations.
They are exact copies of the pro-illegal immigration/open borders wackos in this manner of argument as well.
Watch and listen, it’s truly amazing how mirrored they appear to be in their quest(s) and arguments. In order- no answer, distract, change subject, then a tirade with “YOU HAFTA” or “YOU GOTTA” etc.

This is a little off topic, but did any of you listen to Hannity today?? Limbaugh was on ( Maha Rushy’s Bro ) and said it like it is…more of the GOP need to be like him! He said straight up what I wish more of our ppl in DC would say…’The Democrats are LYING!’ (Paraphrase now) – They are lying about everything just for political gain…etc
I loved it! We need to put these ppl in their place, and he is making a point…lets follow it!

Big Surprise – a reporter and news agency more intersted in promoting a political agenda rather than reporting news – and hold your breath – facts!
A big reason Hot Air is so important – many in the MSM are more interested in political agendas than facts such as todays vent.
omegaram on September 6, 2006 at 1:33 AM
I detest Gregory.
He pulled the same crap on Snow’s predecessor and got away with it. It’s nice to see him get smacked down.
On the other hand, if he can’s stand the humiliation, he can always ask NBC for another beat….
georgej on September 6, 2006 at 1:38 AM
Pull my finger, David.
pjcomix on September 6, 2006 at 6:21 AM
Is it me or does it look like David Gregory is wearing a wig in that photo?

GT on September 6, 2006 at 7:15 AM
Gregory is a prick.
I loathe this little man.
doingwhatican on September 6, 2006 at 7:40 AM
The more Tony Snow speaks, the more I like him and the more you want him to run for something! He seems to be a real man, a man of integrity, and that just makes weasels like Gregory squirm.
CrimsonFisted on September 6, 2006 at 8:30 AM
Sounds like Tony hit a little close to the mark!
dallas94 on September 6, 2006 at 8:52 AM
Methinks David doth protest too much.
speed647 on September 6, 2006 at 9:01 AM
Give him hell Tony.
rplat on September 6, 2006 at 9:11 AM
Snow should say “David, you’ve been a bad boy. Go sit in the corner next to Helen.”
Doesn’t the network see that their reporter is not only obnoxious, but cannot ask a question that is both intelligent and tough? Other reporters manage this feat. Gregory’s network will pay for his obnoxiousness with reduced credibility and thereafter, reduced viewership and ad revenues.

No, he’s jealous of Tony’s sunglasses…
pullingmyhairout on September 6, 2006 at 9:50 AM
I am of the firm belief that NBC is the absolute worst. Worse than CNN. NBC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC and that DICK David Gregory is their mouthpiece in the White House Press Corps.
doingwhatican on September 6, 2006 at 9:58 AM
Please tell me you’re kidding
RightWinged on September 6, 2006 at 10:06 AM
Based on what I heard him tell Russert after the last major outburst, his wife is none to happy when she sees this. I can only assume that he does not limit this behavior to public settings. After appearing to be “out of it” during that call to Imus, I would say that we are seeing the behavior of a person that will soon “seek treatment”. I think it is about time for the pewers that be to help David see his way to getting help. He is representing NBC news and their viewers. It is behavior such as his that makes it harder to prove the allegation that the administration declared war on the press. Tony could easily stop calling on David, but I would guess, even he sees a problem.
Pam on September 6, 2006 at 10:06 AM
doin’ a little trolling, huh? Just try listing these “lies” on this board and we’ll jump all over your as* with the truth.
pullingmyhairout on September 6, 2006 at 10:36 AM
As I was scrolling down, I was beginning to wonder if anybody was going to catch duffyb’s liberal talking point. duffyb, I hope your answer to RightWinged’s question is “yes” – otherwise, you are about to get seriously slammed for making that comment.
Rick on September 6, 2006 at 11:29 AM
David Gregory is Sam Donaldson on speed, without the good looks.
fogw on September 6, 2006 at 12:10 PM
If it is that important, then why is Gregory wasting time bitching aboout Tony pointing his finger at him.
Hey Duff, Tony wasn’t pointing his finger at DG, he was asking hime to pull his finger in the nicest way possible. He had to do this because DG’s big head was crowding all the other journalists out of the room.
It was a life and death situation. Put yourself in Tony’s shoes. Small room. Big head. No air. He was choking. Imploding. Only DG could save him. And Gregory refused to help. The only one with the head for it refused to lift one tiny hand of friendship.
You call this a journalist? I call him a sadist. All that head and no heart. He isn’t fit to pull a monkey’s finger. The world hangs in the balance, and Gregory plays hard to get.
entagor on September 6, 2006 at 12:34 PM
David Gregory is supposed to report the news, not be the news. As he is incapable of shutting up while his questions are being answered he has proven that he is incapable of reporting the news, and thus he should stay home.
DannoJyd on September 6, 2006 at 1:00 PM
His mama (Helen Thomas) must have been so proud.
Rick on September 6, 2006 at 2:25 PM
David Gregory is no reporter. Like most in the MSM, he thinks he has so much influence that he can dictate the debate. He is supposed to ask questions not criticize the Administration for the DNC talking points.
David Schuster, Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, and Olbermann all are operatives for the DNC. The same is true for the other Network spokesholes.
Frankly, it is high time that the RNC tell these charlatans what they are….DNC Operatives.
Almost every single major reporter at NBC is a former DNC Operative but get all high and mighty when someone has the balls to point out the bias. They have been getting away with it for years.
Tim Russert is the biggest fraud in TV News. Russert served as counselor in New York Governor Mario Cuomo’s office in Albany in 1983 to 1984 and was chief of staff to Democratic Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan from 1977 to 1982.
On the NBC website they have sanitized his bio by omitting any reference to Cuomo and Moynihan or to the DNC.

The DEMOCRAT SHILL objects to being called a DEMOCRAT SHILL?
