Nothing unknown about the description of the suspects overseas. That bit of whitewashing is courtesy of our own media. I just got off the phone with my mom who is over there, and she told me that all of the media are very clear in their description of the suspects as being "Muslims" of "of Islamic background". An example of Danish coverage (in English, I'm feeling helpful today ;) ) would be this article from Jyllands-Posten.
