Airbrushing bias at the BBC

Beeb Tehran correspondent Frances Harrison initially pinned some of the blame for the Iranian air crash last week to, of all things, the US. The original story devoted an entire paragraph to placing that blame on US sanctions against the mullahs.

But now, POOF, that paragraph is gone, without acknowledging the change or why it was made. Check out Drinking From Home’s post about it here.

Iran has aircraft! Blame the US.

The BBC should really focus on how more “progressive” Ahmadinejad is getting, day by day…

Man, my sinuses/allergies are killing me this morning. Gotta be Bush’s fault.

How do sanctions stop them from buying spare parts for crappy Russian aircraft like the Tu-154. The Russians themselves can’t even keep their Tu-154s in the air – is that our fault, too?

Let’s see, Russia is fine with helping Iran’s nuclear program, but won’t sell them spare parts for their passenger airliners. Yeah, that makes perfect sense!

Well…yes. As long as this administration is in power, everything that happens (that’s bad, of course) anywhere in the world is their fault (more importantly, Bush himself). That’s just a fact of life. The sooner we acknowledge that, the better off we’ll be.

The evidence against Bush is clear – he concocted Sept. 11; he unilaterally unleashed the military on Afghanistan; he misled all of us into the war in Iraq (by manipulating all of the evidence – for the entire world); he caused global warming; he created lethal hurricanes in 2005 to kill off all of Louisiana’s African-American population (and whatever other poor and downtrodden were there); he refused to aid anybody in New Orleans after his big hurricane (Katrina) flooded the city; he has created an immigration problem in this country…need I say more. This guy puts Hitler and Stalin to shame.

Rick, you forgot – he also caused the big tsunami (so that he, his dad and Mr. Clinton could get some bipartisanship going, for All in the Family, until Mrs. Clinton realized that wasn’t so good for her political quests)…

Yes, thanks for reminding me – also, let’s not forget the Israel/Lebanon/Hezbollah tiff the prez recently created. If I recall correctly, he was captured on film by the MSM (our bastion of truth) orchestrating his next move with his puppet Blair.

Wear it like a badge of Honor.

Maybe they’ll think twice before messing with US!

There is only one solution: Fire Rumsfeld!
