Guess who got arrested yesterday in Britain

So saith Sky:
The search follows a series of anti-terror raids across London which saw 14 men arrested after months of surveillance by M15 and Scotland Yard.
Among them was Abu Abdullah, an associate of Abu Hamza.
They are suspected of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terror.
Remember him? I almost didn’t cut the clip when CNN interviewed him two weeks ago. “What for?” I thought. “All he is is Hamza’s toady. Is this really newsworthy?”
Londonistan, baby. It’s always newsworthy.
They searched the pig’s home last night. He said last week in an interview with the Times of London that he’d “love” to kill British soldiers in Afghanistan; if that’s what got him pinched, it won’t be long before Azzam Tamimi and Abu Izzadeen say something to end up in the joint with him. Kudos to ToL for turning up the heat with that interview and wondering why he’s being allowed to operate “unchecked.”
If nothing else, his dentition, at least, is classically British:

As for the school, the Independent calls it “Britain’s first home-grown jihad training” facility. The News of the World, which is tabloid-y enough that you should take this with a grain of salt, says the suspects were in the early stages of a plot that would have targeted one or more famous London landmarks, e.g., “Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Canary Wharf or the Arsenal and Chelsea football stadiums.”
More from Sky:
Sky News has learnt that al Qaeda suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have said the school was being used to train terrorists.
And the Yemeni government – which received the same information after arresting five Britons in 1999 – also tipped off British officials.
The school, which according to its headmaster doubles as a kind of hotel for Muslims “wishing to live in a strict Islamic environment,” admitted yesterday that hook-handed lunatic preacher Abu Hamza had stayed there in the past — before he was asked to leave. More specifics from the Guardian:
According to the Guantanamo testimonies, which have been read to The Observer, groups of around 30 of Hamza’s followers were taught to use AK47 rifles and handguns at the camp. On one occasion they were trained to use a mock rocket launcher.
The testimonies also detail how Hamza ran similar training camps in the Brecon Beacons and in Scotland.
The Guardian also says that “[m]any of those attending the camps are thought to belong to radical Muslim societies based on university campuses,” including perhaps three men who attend South Bank University and were arrested at that Chinese restaurant on Friday. The Telegraph noted three weeks ago that college students were also recruited for, and involved in, the airplane plot.
The school has nine students, each of whom pays £1,000 in annual tuition. It’s also “used at weekends as a retreat for Muslim families living in London wanting to escape the capital;” presumably there’s some sort of fee for that, too. The campus is 54 acres, though, and the buildings contain 100 rooms. Exit question: how exactly are they paying their bills?

Betcha Bandar Bush could give you some answers, if he were so inclined. But I wouldn’t count on it, just ask Larry King.

Then leave, immediately!!!! Sorry Allah (our pundit), but I’m going to say, banned or not, that creatures like this one deserve one of those ummanned vehicles with a bomb which gets them front- or sideways, so they can see it coming!!! They practically ask for one!
Entelechy on August 18, 2006 at 10:41 PM
Yes, indeed! We’ve probably only skimmed the surface.
On the exit question, I asked it myself; then I was blown away at the talent of the Left to immediately lead all roads toward Bandar/Bush. Oh, no, it’s not the Eskimos at all, it’s the non-radicalized Arabs and Bush, you betcha!
Entelechy on September 3, 2006 at 4:14 PM
Yep, I’d go with that. Anyone else? Or does he represent the mainstream?
THeDRiFTeR on September 3, 2006 at 4:17 PM
Drifter, if he only represents himself and his “love greater than himself”, Osama bin Laden, I’d love to pulverize his a-s!
Entelechy on September 3, 2006 at 4:20 PM
LOL! Yup, Saudi Arabia, non radicalized. Have you forgotten that of the 19 highjackers on 9/11, 15 were Saudi, or that Bin Laden is a Saudi national? You know they publicly behead people in that country? You think gays have rights? How’s about we go build a christian church in Riyadh. It’ll be hard work in the intense heat, but we can get some of the local gals to drive out and get us some beer, keep us cool. Oh wait, maybe not. And we’d be shit out of luck for beer.
And who said anything about Bush? If you’re going to attack me (talent of the Left), please do so in an intelligent manner.

Drifter, I saw your “Bandar Bush”, and if misunderstood, I have no idea what the Bush part was meant to represent.
Yes, I know all you enumerated about SA. I was talking about the ‘ruling elite’, whom I don’t particularly like either. Yes, I know they finance some stupid endeavours in the name of not losing their ruling a—s. And I’m too familiar with the lack of liberties there. However, wait until the Islamofascists really take over that land to see what it will then look like and what their relationship with the West and with the U.S. will be…

(talent of the Left)
Talk about an oxymoron.
Capitalist Infidel on September 3, 2006 at 4:57 PM
Perhaps there’s a reason we’re not insisting on a democratic Saudi Arabia.

Sorry, the link to the last article I quoted, so you don’t just think I’m pulling this sh*t out my *ss.

Allahpundit, I think this guy Abu Abdullah has been given a pass by the law because no one really took him very seriously. He sounds like he’s just trying to be outrageous, drawing attention to himself. My father used to say it’s the quiet guy you had to watch out for, and I think there’s probably some truth to that.
PS, that would be MI5, and not M15, but I’m sure you knew that.

I’ve been looking for Yassir Arafat’s successor as Ugliest Man In The World and I think I’ve found him.

Head Master: They told me they were going duck hunting. This is a rather large compound, er, campus. How was I to know that it was an AK47? Besides, the rocket launcher wasn’t real. Was it?
THeDRiFTeR on September 3, 2006 at 5:32 PM
Drifter, thanks for the Bandar Bush explananation.
Do I venture to imagine that you and I are close enough on?
Entelechy on September 3, 2006 at 6:00 PM
Whoa whoa whoa… wait a minute… I thought all the people being held at Gitmo were just innoccent farmers with no intelligence value that the war criminal Bush had picked up so that U.S. troops could torture and rape them
treat them like kings compared to what they’re used to, allow them to throw cocktails of every possible bodily fluid at troops, feed them cookies and ice cream, etc.?Seriously, I would be interested to see if the Moses of Gitmo detainees (read: the American left) will say about this.
(bonus: is anyone else seeing the add for Indian dating on this page right now?)
RightWinged on September 3, 2006 at 6:54 PM
Thought I should clarify…. Think “let my people go”…. probably a crappy reference, partly because it insults Moses and partly because it needed to be explained.
RightWinged on September 3, 2006 at 6:56 PM
Drifter
Take it up with Sky, Allah copied that directly from their article.
For once you’ve actually made a point. Please tell the American left so that they don’t blow off every terror bust on our own soil as “just some unorganized nobodies” who are “incapable”, etc. etc.
RightWinged on September 3, 2006 at 7:03 PM
Looks like Tony Randall. Bad for Tony. I posted a pix.

Ya, I’ll get right on that. Just let me hook up my ham radio.

Self Defense?
I thought it was that if they invite you to Islam and you reject then they can kill you.
In my World Religion class the professor argued with a Christian saying that a bomb under a seat of someone on a Air Plane or a Bus is not murder.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Regardless, Muslims will go absolutely no where so long as they have corrupt leaders, the perfect the art of destroying invention, keep women down and openly murder.
9-11 merely set Muslims back … Period.
Poor philosophy/theology – I don’t pity those that subscribe.

Just saw a new trend here in Dearbornistan, Michigan:
Little girls wearing the long black robes of the adult females. They dont have their faces covered but normally the girls wear somewhat pretty clothes, with head coverings, until puberty. Suddenly, they are in black like tiny women, while the moms also have heavy face mask tied with thick cord behind the head.
You can watch the behaviours harden. The ones who dress like this hardly speak. They dont joke or move around a lot.

I guess a low ‘teacher’ to bomber ratio is required for blow-’em-Higher education.
