For those having trouble seeing the video:
1. Javascript needs to be enabled on your browser (at least temporarily);
2. you need to enable something called “real-time streaming protocol” in RealPlayer. This instruction is for RealPlayer 10. You do this by launching RealPlayer 10, clicking on “Tools” (possibly “>>”) -> Preferences -> (select) Media Types -> (click on) Advanced -> scroll down to “Real Time Streaming Protocol” and check the box, then click “OK”.

I know, not exactly trivial.

The one-man content provider made an appearance on C-SPAN a few days ago and gave a wonderful show. Michelle Malkin’s site has a video clip here. It is always refreshing to see someone so thoroughly honest on television…….

Mark brings up a good point when he mentioned the ‘red-light district’ in Amsterdam and the lifestyles there. I have often wanted to ask liberals exactly who they think will be the first to go if Islamo-fascists win and take over the world.

First Amsterdam, then the Royale with Cheese… as I’ve heard him say before (not in this interview): “if we’re not careful, we’re going to lose our world…”

The sooner everyone else sees the world - like Mark - in the black and white instead of shades of reality, the sooner we can come to grips with what must be done to save our civilization. Mr. Steyn was born in Toronto but grew up in England and other countries. As he explained yesterday he is primarily an autodidact, which means that it doesn’t matter where he has lived or will do so in the future.

I’m very happy that he thinks and writes the way he does and that he loves this country so much so as to live here. Here he is free to be any citizen he chooses to be.

Others, like Mr. Hitchens and Peter Jennings took eternities to become citizens, but in the end they did.

For all those who can’t see the video- get a Mac. Steyn is yet another genius who made himself with a high school education. I would love to know where he got his classical education- likely not an American high school. They re-aired Stossel’s Stupid in America on ABC last night. What timing.

As someone on dial-up, I never get to see the good videos. It takes over an hour to d/l a Vent. I discovered Steyn about a year ago, and have been visiting his site ever since. Radioblogger has always been a great resource-he has transcribed Hugh Hewitt’s radio interviews, including the weekly Mark Steyn sessions. At least I can read what he has to say,which is always sharp and clear.
