She’s suggesting that it would be nice if a Senator of the United States, who happens to be about as milquetoast a guy as you’ll ever meet, had been shot.

It’s not funny when they do it, and it’s not funny when one of ours does it. This one is over the line, and all for a crappy play on the guy’s name. She should know better.

Um, no she is not. Her article doesn’t have anything to do with shooting anyone. Its about who conservatives should support in an election. The title is inflammatory precisely to get attention but face it, its innocuous. She’s merely pointing out that given a choice between having Pres. Lincoln vs Lincoln Chafee, sadly we get the latter.

The liberal politicians, the liberal media, and liberal ideology cannot ever be friendly to us conservatives, and that is why being nice never pay dividends, so why not give them something to get worked up over instead of spending so much time defending against the lies?

I’m sure you’ve heard of the saying: “He who is young and is not a liberal has no heart. He who is old and is not a conservative has no brains.” That (rather accurately) describes how the college-age bra-burning stage that people go through is moderated (probably by their first IRS 1040), and they turn to Conservatism. I don’t see what is gained by joining the left-wing kooks in their juvenile shock-seeking. I find it rather hard to listen to “substance” on the left or the right when both sides are talking about shooting or poisoning their political enemies. To me, that’s more than a delivery problem. I know what Ann’s driving force is. It was apparent the other night when she was ignored and she stormed off camera. She wants attention. You say that there’s substance underneath, but the search for substance is hard to stomach when, even after she’s already secured the attention of her audience, she continues to thickly coat her monologue with vulgarities, racial and religious slurs, death threats, and other such things that are usually indicative of the disintegration of levelheaded discourse.

Without a thing to call a foul on, liberals continuously create issues that do not exist. Rush Limbaugh, the man credited with starting the conservative media revolution, constantly points out that we cannot be friendly to liberals. The liberal politicians, the liberal media, and liberal ideology cannot ever be friendly to us conservatives, and that is why being nice never pay dividends, so why not give them something to get worked up over instead of spending so much time defending against the lies?

Currently, conservatives are attacked as war loving, baby killing Nazis. Forget that a majority of liberal politicians voted in support of this war, forget that Cigarman started the ball rolling on Iraq, and forget that an overwhelming majority of Americans supported the war. So much for doing what was right, and not playing politics.

The proper conservative response to anyone attempting to tarnish the conservative movement over an Ann Coulter statement is, are you saying that she is wrong that liberals are Godless, that Lincoln is a RINO, or that Hilary should be more concerned by her husbands actions against women than over Ann’s statements? I can think of about 20 more, but the idea is to focus on the facts that Ann exposes. Substance is what keeps conservatives in the lead, not liberal arse kissing.

Ann Coulters outrageousness gets the attention needed to expose this RINO as well as other issues as the MSM is not exactly happy to address any problem which may benefit Republicans

My panties are fine. She can say anything she fucking wants to. I’m just not interested in being associated with that kind of thinking.

That’s my main problem with Coulter as well. She calls herself as a Conservative, and tarnishes them by association. Do a Google search for “Malkin and Coulter” or “Coulter and Malkin” for an idea of the collateral damage that Coulter causes.

My point is that I hate being forced to settle. Remember the Gingrich revolution? Now Those were the days! Maybe I’ve been spoiled by actual success, or maybe I don’t subscribe to symbolism over substance, but I definitely will push the conservative cause, and I wish to get others to assist me in pushing our representatives to actually represent us. I believe that we deserve that, and we could get that IF we push hard enough at the right time.

I still don’t see a reason to support Kennedy. As I see it, if he wants to be a RINO then let him get his support from fellow RINO’s.

I am a conservative who supports conservatives. If I get stuck with a RINO I’ll just stay home, and let the Senate republicans return to being the LOSERS. It isn’t as if they ever acted like they won anything.

To the degree it would, we wouldn’t like it. More important in the big picture is that having that seat go D instead of R puts a tight Senate that much closer to being controlled by the Dems. How many committees would you like to see Ted Kennedy in charge of?

I’d rather have the RINO than a moonbat. And having looked both of them in the eye, I’ll definitely hold my nose and vote Chaffee if it comes down to a choice between them. However, it looks like it might not. I just heard that Laffey is now polling 17 points ahead of Chaffee. Which means we say hello to another Northeast limousine liberal in the Senate.

Now, the average viewer or reader who is exposed to her can be forgiven for thinking that both sides are equally childish. Isn’t that nifty?

“They shot the wrong Lincoln”? This doesn’t even make any sense… who are “they”? Is she not aware that Abraham Lincoln lived 150 years ago? What does one have to do with the other? There is absolutely no value to that headline at all, except to make her look like an idiot.

Ann is brilliant. I know she’s promoting her book a lot, but she is smart; and more importantly, she’s “seen.” Ann is an unmatched one-woman PR machine, and she knows how to do it.
