Were Sidarth’s message-board comments spoofed?

As if this poor bastard hasn’t suffered enough. Dan Riehl says people are leaving comments at his site claiming that the purple prose attributed to Sidarth on various Internet message boards might not have actually been written by him. Dan thinks the Google cache suggests otherwise, but he can’t prove it one way or another and Sidarth himself has denied writing the stuff in question. For the record.

Here’s the Daily Show’s take on Macacagate, btw. If you’re willing to endure two minutes of Stewart’s mugging, you’re in for a … mildly amusing punchline.

Real nice of them to insinuate that being a racist “helps” a politician in Virginia. What lovely people liberals are.

Uh oh… you better not let Umnumzana and the Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice see that you have posted this utterly perverted, soul-rotting, hard-core pornographic video, or there will be severe penalties for your crimes against humanity. :-(

Watcher, was that really necessary? Seeing as Umnumzana is not present in this thread?
