4 years minus 5 minutes. There was that hilarious SNL sketch where Ackroyd (as Carter) ‘talked down’ a stoner on a bad acid trip.

I think we should replace Benedict Arnold with Jimmy Carter when we talk of a traitor to our country.

Guess there isn’t such a big difference between “timid and ineffective” and “bold and ineffective”.

Go Mo!

As I’ve told others, Carter was hands down the worst president of my lifetime, running away with the title in an era that included Johnson (Vietnam), Nixon (Watergate) and Clinton (Monicagate).

Guess there isn’t such a big difference between “timid and ineffective” and “bold and ineffective”.

Not much of a difference between “dead” or “in hiding and ineffective” either.

How many days has bin Laden been “wanted dead or alive?” Guess there isn’t such a big difference between “timid and ineffective” and “bold and ineffective”.

For such a sanctimonious prig, he sure feasts on hate.

Of course he hates Blair. After all, what could Blair offer to compare with Jimmy? Jimmy already gave away the Panama Canal, a Nuclear Power Plant to N. Korea, an election to Hugo Chavez, a year’s free publicity to the Alyatollahs of Iran, the life savings of a generation of Americans with his inflation machine, and a passle of Bile to G. Bush.

I guess Blair could give away London to the islamist minority, and the head of George the Baptist, I mean George the President on a platter to Salome, I mean Jimmy’s friends. Or, Blair could nominate Jimmy for a Nobel prize.

Or, better yet, start his own project for disaffected British Muslims: Habitat for Ummanity…

Speaking of the devil, I’ve got the the Jimmy Carter [Work] Project on TV right now, airing on the DIY channel. The segment just aired: “Women Builds” or builds that feature all-women crews – no men involved, not one. My favorite quote: “It’s not that we’re excluding men, it’s that we’re including women…” Right. The new homeowner’s daughter: “I think it’s great because it shows that, anything men can do, women can do better…”

Glad the bias is right out front where I can see it. Makes we wonder what would happen if anyone on a Jimmy Carter work crew was ever off-message…

They have to do this to Blair. They have to somehow reconcile the facts that he (a) is of the left, (b) believes that preemptive war can accomplish moral ends, and, importantly, (c) refuses to renounce that belief simply because George Bush happens to share it. Solution: attribute it to a character defect and call him a coward, never minding …

Brilliant. Either a coward or a secret right-winger (“I don’t know you anymore!”). And reconciling (c) is out of the question because, by definition, a leftie must renounce any belief shared with Dubya, until he is either shamed out of office or impeached, in order to help the cause. (And there’s a Nobel Peace Prize in it somewhere down the line, we promise…) Doesn’t Blair get it?!?!

I see Carter’s comment as a shot across the bow, the precursor to ex-communicating Blair from the left-wing order altogether. Carter doesn’t really think he’s spineless; he’s just letting Blair know that this “wimp” characterization is as good as it gets from him, the next move being to hold him “accountable”, imply he’s somehow switched “sides”, etc. (Crazy?)

The answer to that, of course, is neither: The President is a servant of the people, not the other way around, and Hamas is – well, Hamas. And the only people who want to be subservient to them are people who elect them into office. And those who sup…

The first documented contact between Former President Carter and Samir Vincent was in September 1999. Vincent had organized a tour of Iraqi religious leaders to meet with individuals in the United States who might be persuaded to speak out against the sanctions against Iraq. The trip also included discussions of ways to oppose U.S. and U.K. air strikes against Iraqi missile batteries in southern Iraq, which had fired on American and British aircraft engaged in enforcing the southern “No Fly Zone.”

The meeting with Carter was one of the highlights of the trip. Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, welcomed the Vincent-organized delegation into their home in Plains, Georgia.

So the verdict is in: EX-President Jimmy Carter had a failed presidency and he is even a greater failure as a former president. He is an absolute disgrace!

Yeah, Egyptians just loved the hell out of us during the Clinton years, just ask Mohammed Atta, Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Mohammed Atef, Omar Abdel-Rahman, El Sayyid Nosair, Mahmud Abouhalima, etc etc.
