If only the Indian gov’t hadn’t been enamored with the Soviets decades ago, or been sucked into the Non-aligned movement, perhaps the U.S. would not have “been forced” to side with the backstabbing nation of Pakistan or sit by without a peep as they acquired the “Muslim bomb”.

It is incredibly powerful and not well understood and reported, neither from the standpoint of how difficult it was to achieve, nor from its positive global and bi- and tri-lateral (with Israel) consequences.

Education about the ends will surely reduce support for the means.
