The only thing to do is learn from Bob’s noxious example. And don’t do the same thing. When Jill Carol was kidnapped, there was a lot of real slimey comments made about her on our side. We can argue about whether our side had the same amount of crappy behaviour, or less than the left. We can argue that it was only our fringe that behaves this way, where-as the spokespeople from the left behave this way.

Whatever. That is missing the point, in my opinion. I think that we need to police our selves as much as possible so we don’t explode into noteriety like Bob. Unfortunately, this kiddnapping is going to happen again. Some journalist is going to end up kiddnapped by Islamic-fascists. And with the majority of journalists being liberal, it most likely will be some liberal journalist who is kiddnapped. When this happens, (God forbid), let’s make sure we comport ourselves with better humanity than Bob did.

If I had to guess what the thinking is here, I’d guess it’s the fact that it was Palestinians who took him, not Iraqis. The Pali jihadis tend not to kill their journo hostages; the Iraqi jihadis do.

But if that’s the logic, after nine days, I’d say it’s just about expired.
