German feds suspect terror network behind train-bomb attempt

They caught one of the two suspects at the train station as he was trying to skip town. According to the prosecutor, his DNA(!) and fingerprints are on one of the suitcase bombs. They’re still looking for the second guy but they think it goes further than the two of them:
The two men were not acting alone but within a “criminal organisation with a solid structure”, [prosecutor Monika Harms] said…
“We are now working on the basis that this was the work of a terrorist group based in Germany and that it was an attempt to kill a large number of people,” Rainer Griesbaum, a federal prosecutor, told a press conference Friday.
The suspect’s reportedly Lebanese and “very Islamic.” The bombs were planted not long after the war between Israel and Hezbollah broke out.
Meanwhile, in London, Hizb ut-Tahrir hit the streets today to demand (a) a more terrorist-friendly foreign policy, and (b) the establishment of a worldwide caliphate. Moonbat Media has a slew of photos, but be sure to watch the first video too (it’s less than a minute long). Hizb ut-Tahrir sells itself as the “good” Islamist organization insofar as it unabashedly supports Islamic world conquest but ostensibly eschews violent means to accomplish it. As I say, watch the video. And then read this old CSM article about the group, paying special attention to the conclusion. They eschew violent means now because they’re not necessary. Yet.
Shot in the dark, but does anyone recognize this guy?
He’s inspired at least two posts on this site, one of them a Vent.
Let’s end on a good note. For the first time in my memory, a terrorist’s father is neither condoning nor denying nor blaming the west for his son’s actions. He should have stayed in school, says pop. Wouldn’t that have just made things worse?

The Germans shouldn’t be surprised that this sort of thing happens, given their foreign policy. Germany strongly supports Israel, facilitates Israeli aggression in Lebanon, and has thousands of troops in Iraq. Germans of Arabic descent are impoverished and without opportunity, so it is only natural for them to express their rage and alienation in this manner…

You ever get the feeling that these nutjobs have forgotten who it is that control the worlds mightiest weapons?
These buffoons don’t stand a chance in establishing a caliphate. If they really did, I suspect the Jordanian king would give them short shrift indeed, then we’d never hear from them again.
Funny though, (as in weird funny) that 2 years ago I argued against the “muslim horde” theory, suggesting that the islamic world was framented and incoherent. Not quite sure I would be as confident in that argument today. Guess the president has proven to be a man of his word.

Germany is a massive welfare state. Its residents are hardly impoverished and without opportunity.
To find poverty and lack of opportunity you must go to the Sudan, where Christians and animists died in huge numbers as shriveled skeletons of starvation and disease when the islamist seekers of caliphate drove them into the wastelands and slaughtered them. They are still being sold into slavery today by the muslim supporters of caliphate. Their opportunities to continue herding cattle or raising crop are ended by the muslim raiders who support caliphate because agri business is not transportable.
Luckily for the not-impoverished arabs living in Germany as residents or citizens, bombs and other WMDs are highly transportable so they may take their craft with them, town to town, as they pursue their livelihood of engendering the muslim caliphate.
For the muslim supporters of caliphate, Germany is a golden land of opportunity. There are train and bus stations, airports filled with infidels, food supplies and water systems, cars to burn. Infidels as far as the eye can see. And when the infidels are gone or subdued, all the wealth will be theirs. A golden land of opportunity really.
I am touched really by the genorisity of the Germans, who offer their land over to these arabs of German habitation.
