UK telecom giant suspends spokesman for anti-Muslim “racism”

posted at 7:09 pm on August 17, 2006 by Allahpundit

He came up with a few timely new entries for the Devil’s Dictionary. And got an unpaid vacation for his trouble.

Oh no, this won’t do at all:

An article under Inigo Wilson’s name on the ConservativeHome.com discussion site gives a series of definitions for “politically correct” terms.

One of the entries reads: “Islamophobic: Anyone who objects to having their transport blown up on the way to work.”

The post defines Palestinians as “Archetype ‘victims’ no matter how many teenagers they murder in bars and fast food outlets.

“Never responsible for anything they do – or done in their name – because of ‘root causes’ or ‘legitimate grievances’.”

Here’s his post at Conservative Home. Such things he says!

Disproportionateforeign affairs: Describes any act by USA or Israel…

Egalitarian – “if I can’t have one, then neither can you”. Shared misery much better than unevenly scattered joy…

Human rights – using the legal system to pursue political ends…

al Qaeda – Muslim ‘militants’ who for some reason or other continue to kill far more Muslims than people of any other faith.

And most gobsmackingly vile of all:

Hate-speech – “shut up!”.

There’s lots more, but that’s all my delicate constitution could take.

Serious question re: his employer: is the suspension bad politics but good business? The comments at the end of the Telegraph article suggest it might not be, particularly right now. Then again, who’s more likely to organize a boycott? The silent majority? Or “alienated British youth”?

Update: Conservative Home unloads on Wilson’s employer. The Mohammed cartoons are mentioned.

Just another example of the Muslims bullying people to comply with them. When are people going to start growing some cajones and stand up to them?

So speaking the truth with a healthy dose of common sense is racism…

Well count me in then, I am one bigoted motherf’er!

Here we go again..typical fascist muslim tactics..close down the dissent or anything that smacks of critcism. Dhimmitude indeed.

I like this person!

On our own PC, google ‘hezbollah activists’ and thou shall find lots of occurrences, especially in the Washington Post in recent days’ articles and in this one, for ex.

One day a terrorist, the next day an activist (just like Ms. Hanna sitting in a tree in the Los Angeles garden squatting – who says ther isn’t equivalency?), and a few months later you are elected to run the country and the idiots who voted for you cheer in orgasmic ecstacy.

The piece sparked fury among Muslim readers who regarded them as racist,

But I thought “Muslim” wasn’t a race, so how can this be racist? Muslims can be white or brown, see, that’s why profiling at the airport doesn’t work. If it is a race, can we profile for it now?

I really want to name one of my kids Inigo. Too bad the wife’s not having it.

Heh I especially loved his bit on South Africa, because I have several ex-pat South African friends. I’ve actually even been there, and he nails it pretty good. And lefties ADMIRE this place?

Then again, it’s not like we didn’t already know they were insane…

Talk about speaking truth to Power. Heh.

Oh and for some in the Muslim world, only the Arab is a true Muslim. That’s why the Koran is only in Arabic etc. Hence the genocide against black muslims in Dafur by Arab muslims. You gotta wonder how much Hitler cribbed off of these guys.

They can hardly lose by admiring it! When South Africa does well, it’s due to the progressive policies of the ANC. When there are problems, it’s due to the pernicious legacy of racism, imperialism, and colonialism.

Inigo’s article was great AND the truth.

Muslims seem to have no sense of humor. I’m so sick of them calling anyone who opposes their extreme behavior a “racist”. I have several Youtube videos that are laced with comments about my racism and people wondering why a relatively tame one (per Youtube standards) was flagged. I’ve been called every name in the book and threatened by these people who are a part of the “religion of peace”. It makes me want to convert…how about you? Wait did I just commit hate speech? Oh well…

It seems to me these type of Muslims are much like our Democratic Party. Free to do and say whatever they like and make any innuendo they like. But you’re not. And if you do there will be Allah or Nancy P. to pay.

Political correctness is simply censorship by intimidation. Heaven forbid we actually accuse terrorists of terrorizing! If we’re nice to them, they’ll learn to love us. Uh-huh.
