British Deputy PM: Bush = Hitler “crap”

Andrew Sullivan reports a sudden precipitous drop in his skepticism over the terror plot.

Worthy of not one but two full-length articles. It sounds like Prescott said it was Bush’s promise about reviving the Israeli/Palestinian roadmap that had been “crap.” But we won’t let that stand in the way of a good headline.

In sixty-point font:

Bonus points: he made the comment during a meeting with MPs who represent large Muslim constituencies, while they were busy using the terror plot to try to extort concessions from him on foreign policy.

His best bud among American politicians? Al Gore. Surprise.

Let’s see…politician in a meeting with muslim leaders who were extorting him….he could
A. Stand by a principle and tell them to go pound sand or
B. Pander to them and tell them what they want to hear, no matter what it shows about him as a man.

Guess we know that Mr. Prescott went to the same politician schools as John Kerry, Howard Dean, and John McCain.

I’ve always thought him deranged, even when he ran in 2000. It’s scary that this man almost had his finger on the big trigger.

I am just about sick and tired of President Bush (i. e. the United States) getting s&^t on by everybody and their dog over it Europe. I this far (two fingers pressed together) from saying “SCREW YOU”, stop the flow of taxpayer money to any county across the pond, close all the bases in foreign countries and bring our military back to their home soil, and just let nature take its course. AND THEN, when the Queen has to wear a burka, Auschwitz is turned into a Nazi shrine and the Eiffel Tower into a mosque, and they’re begging us for help, we send them newspaper headlines like this instead. One time, I wish someone from the government would something like that.

Prescott is a joke in the UK. He is a blundering fool who is being sidelined and bypassed. When the crisis hit you saw MP John Reid NOT Prescott who in the chain of command was actually in charge.
Prescott also is in BIG trouble for taking money from AMERICAN businessmen/millionaires who want to bring a casino and some other developments to England.
He is a buffoon and no one takes him seriously anymore. He is so desperate for support that pandering to muslims during the past crisis is just the sort of oppportunism he would practice.

Slow and steady wins the race. When you are #1 like the US, everybody snipes at you. These boneheads will come and go, but history judges the results. If we come out to be right in the Middle East, these flunkies will just be other Nevil Chamberlins in the long look, and be recognized as the fools they are.
