Video: Wallace and Ahmadinejad laugh, bicker, flirt

posted at 2:51 am on August 15, 2006 by Allahpundit

C-SPAN aired the unedited, hour-long interview tonight. I’d planned to clip the choicer quotes, but who wants to sit through five minutes of this Nazi slackjaw pandering to American liberals with platitudes about social justice? The time would be better spent watching outtakes of he and Wallace acting like an old married couple. Which is exactly what I gave you — plus twenty seconds or so of “Mahdi” wondering why Wallace isn’t in the tank for Hezbollah the way nearly every journalist in the Arab world is.

The Kossacks sure do like him, though.

It’s five minutes long. By 4:45 the two of them look like they’re ready to borrow that “dagger” from Chavez and Castro.

The full video hasn’t been posted yet at C-SPAN; I’ll add a link here once it is. Also, please note that I’ve shuffled some parts around for a little extra rhythm.

Ahmadinejad got Wallace to bring out the big boy language… “What the dickens…” lol

By the way, some clever people with video editing softwar could make some hilarious stuff with this.

Ahmajihadist was probably thinking to himself “Infidel, if we weren’t on camera, you’d be dead by now” with a big smile on his face.

The kOS poll option “Mike Wallace is rude and a jingoistic idiot” does sum up my feelings on this interview. Not that a maniac like Mahmoud deserves to be treated with respect, but Wallace, falling into the default liberal mode, is condecending… he treats this puke like some kind of retarded kid rather than the messianic leader of a death cult.

It’s like watching Art Linkletter or Bill Cosby interviewing Kids who say the darndest things.

To Wallace he’s some cute guy who says silly things and this dismissal indicates that he thinks the PM is harmless. This is how these deadly serious men wish to be seen.

This is why liberals cannot be trusted with the GWOT.

You’ll have to pry it from Castro’s cold, dead…..uh, never mind.

Hmmmm. Wallace should have conducted this interview over a candle light dinner, and then he should have “slipped into something more comfortable.”

THIS INTERVIEW WAS A WASTE OF TIME…ONLY ONE OR TWO TOUGH QUESTIONS, MIKE? WOULD YOU HAVE BEEN AS SOFT AND CUDDLY AND COMPLIMENTARY WITH PRES BUSH?

Notice how Pres Ahmadinejihad (aka Immadforjihad)quoted statistics on how many people are in jail in America, how many Americans are unemployed, and how many Americans do not have health care. He was ready for Wallace. I think that the enemy studies various reporters and news stations on whether or not they are for or against Pres Bush, etc., and then decides how to deal with them accordingly.

MAKE MINE MICHELLE, WABC-RADIO, AND FOX NEWS CHANNEL FOR MY NEWS AND INFORMATION.

It does cry out for some…musical accompaniment. Something by Nat King Cole, perhaps?

My question is : What do we do about these Islamic fascist crazies. We can’t do nothing and we really can’t invade. The recent Hesbola action along with the IED / Suicide bomb mentality that pervades the entire region shows me that invasion would be a train wreck. The more we try to resist the militants, the more the anger towards us increases. We can’t negotiate with them because that would be spraying gas on the fire and embolden them.

I see an ugly mess for many years to come. And, what really sucks is they have all the oil. What to do.

By the way, happy VJ Day.

If only Wallace had the courage to be as tough on Ahmadinejad as he was with those Limousine Inspectors who arrested him two years ago in NYC.

Understandable though, Limo Inspectors are a much greater threat to America.

Having watched the C-SPAN version – couldn’t bare to give 60 Minutes the ratings – I can only conclude that, thanks to Mike Wallace, the left has another yet tyrant to worship.

Will Mahmoud soon have his own T-shirt?

I’m a dunce, today: bear.

The Kossacks just couldn’t help themselves and throw President Bush in their poll as one of the “idiots”. 29% thought Wallace, Ahmadinejad and Bush are idiots. You gotta love BDS.

Flirt

LMAO! Nailing it as usual, Allah!

You must remember that Wallace is not a journalist he is an entertainer. This explains his style of interviewing in that he is more interested in getting reactions rather than obtaining news. Does General Westmoreland ring a bell?

pocomoco on August 15, 2006 at 5:15 PM

Wallace looks scared. Wallace knows what a nut-ball Ahmadinejad is.

Wallace looks like he doesn’t know whether to laugh or pee his pants. I guess laughter and flirting is his best defense in that case.

If that’s the case, then why hasn’t he spoken about such since returning to the US where its safe?

All he needed was the New York Times and Irmadingabathad all the damning numbers possible.

Like I said… Because he is scared.

Just being back in the US doesn’t make him safe from this loon.
