Hate couture: Al Qaeda dressing in drag

posted at 3:10 pm on August 15, 2006 by Allahpundit

Three makes a trend:

A key al Qaeda operative who was dressed as a woman was killed in eastern Afghanistan, according to the U.S. military.

It was the third time in just three weeks that al Qaeda operatives wearing women’s clothing have been captured or killed by coalition forces, Coalition spokesman Colonel Tom Collins told ABC News…

Soldiers searching the compound came across the man hidden under a burqa. He resisted capture and was subsequently shot and killed.

Other trends aren’t as recent:

The compound raided this morning also housed bomb-making equipment and sheltered more than 60 women and children, the military said. It was not the first time al Qaeda fugitives have hidden their supplies among women and children.

I’m looking for a big ending here, but the only thing I can think of is “dude look like ji-hay-di” and that’s just so, so awful. I’m really sorry.

Damn! I had to look at this after lunch.

EWWWWWWWW..Yucko AP!
I am simply not clever enough to chime in on this but my money says Entelechy and Kid from Brooklyn will be along soon to regale us with something pithy.

I would love to see the burka BANNED. It is a symbol of slavery. I saw a woman dressed in one last week in the grocery. At that point it was about 2pm and the heat index in Atlanta was well over 100F! She was miserable looking but her little boy was cool and happy in his short pants and short sleeved shirt..my blood boiled!

By popular demand…..

“My burqa brings all the boys in the yard/and their death/ is better than yours/ damn right, it’s better than yours/ I could teach you, but I’d have to charge”…

Kid from Brooklyn on August 15, 2006 at 3:44 PM

labwrs, what’s wrong with you. They are suffering for Allah and keeping their men from lusting after them.

Dread Pirate Roberts VI on August 15, 2006 at 3:45 PM

Man, they must have some big *ss houses over there! 60 women and children?

Kevin M on August 15, 2006 at 3:46 PM

Why did your blood boil? Arabs have been wearing burkas for hundreds of years in temperatures well above 130 degrees. Men and women alike wear long, thin, and very breathable fabric which keeps them cool. The dark colors absorb heat and cool rapidly, think aluminum. The burka is actually a good choice in hot weather. Not that I would wear one, just had to point that out.

Theworldisnotenough on August 15, 2006 at 3:50 PM

I’ve had a thought for several years, and this seems to be a good thread to make it public in.

Muslims seem to believe america is loaded with perverts. Why not use that view, and publish how those supporting the terrorists as well as the actual terrorists act in their private lives when away from their homelands? I don’t think it would sit well with Muslims in the middle east when they learn how their ilk go to strip bars, buy nudie magazines, ingest alcohol, drugs, and other recreational substances proscribed by their religion, purchase the services of whores, and basically thumb their noses at the Koran.

Just a thought. :oP~~

Ninjas!

JamesVersusEveryone on August 15, 2006 at 4:01 PM

Ninjas?!?!

DannoJyd on August 15, 2006 at 4:07 PM

Good idea, DannoJyd. What if Al-Jazeera’s signal got pirated during prime time, and dhar-al-Islam saw the Jihadi version of “Ho’s On The Point”?

Kid from Brooklyn on August 15, 2006 at 4:10 PM

ha ha ha, looks like my aunt!

Ropera on August 15, 2006 at 4:16 PM

Let me tell you…When I was younger and stupider, the Navy ship I was attached to made a pit stop in Saudi Arabia, for a joint training thingy. We gave our Saudi brethren a tour of the ship, including the berthing areas, where one of the off-duty grunts was playing a porn VCR. Needless to say, a near riot broke out as our Wahabbi friends scrummed for space in front of the teevee, and howled at the images before them. Fortunately, no one was harmed, but I was instantly made aware of the double standard that Danno so brilliantly seeks to exploit.

Kid from Brooklyn on August 15, 2006 at 4:19 PM

Theworldisnotenough:
Why did your blood boil?
Because as a woman I dont see the burka as a fashion statement. I see it as a symbol of slavery by a “religion” terrified of women. Simple as that.
And living in Atlanta I can tell you that garb was not in any way, shape or form a “good choice for hot weather”.
*LOL* @ Kid..I KNEW it!

labwrs on August 15, 2006 at 4:30 PM

Damn scary looking woman there. Unfortunately, I think her younger sisters live down the road from me.

High Desert Wanderer on August 15, 2006 at 4:36 PM

And living in Atlanta I can tell you that garb was not in any way, shape or form a “good choice for hot weather”.

Without giving up too much, what part of the ATL was that? I spent some time there last year, and I found the per capita burqa concentration to be lower than in O-Town.

Kid from Brooklyn on August 15, 2006 at 4:37 PM

“dude look like ji-hay-di”

I think we’re going to need a very public apology for putting us through that one Allah.

RightWinged on August 15, 2006 at 4:44 PM

Kid
It was about half a mile from Lenox Square at the Kroger on Peachtree Road. I have seen more and more of them lately since the new mosque opened near Ga Tech on 14th street last year. I live near it in Midtown. This mosque is supposed to be one of the largest in the South. It is where the two local “jr jihadis” attended (allegedly).

labwrs on August 15, 2006 at 4:54 PM

Thanks for the support, Kid. All too often ideas of mine that seem coherent in the light of day lose their brilliance under a magnifying glass.

SPIEGEL: Does America need a regime change?

Danno: Only if Americans decide to do so in the upcomming elections, you democracy hating, flatulating butthead!

DannoJyd on August 15, 2006 at 5:03 PM

since the new mosque opened near Ga Tech on 14th street last year.

Midtown? Fuhgeddaboutit. I was inside the Perimeter, on the Dunwoody side of I-285. I thought your State Capitol was a mosque when I first laid eyes on it; en route to a Braves game.

Kid from Brooklyn on August 15, 2006 at 5:09 PM

The Gold Dome a mosque? *lol*
When you passed Ga Tech on the downtown connector on your way to the game, you passed the mosque. Its opening was when we began to see more of a muslim presence.
It is weird to see a minivan pulling beside you into a parking space with someone driving who only has their eyes exposed. You honestly can not tell if it is male or female..probably the reason for the article above. I just want to ask them “WHY?”..Why would ANY sane woman be a member of a woman-hating, misogynistic, deathcult like islam? WHY?

labwrs on August 15, 2006 at 5:13 PM

72 of them in paradise would be rough.

Shmo on August 15, 2006 at 5:26 PM

labwrs, can’t let you down; Allahpundit was really looking for this “big ending”:

Like a virgin

Madonna

Entelechy on August 15, 2006 at 6:09 PM

YAY! Kid and Entelechy!BTW, I think that pic AP posted probably has a “big ending”..”Baby got back” *LOL*

labwrs on August 15, 2006 at 6:18 PM

labwrs, thanks again for that fabulous reporting from Atlanta’s local news, on the big “Cynthia McKinney Night”.

The big ending of the drag-queen in the picture, above, is this – the dress is no longer white/pink because it’s full of wormsh-t, or more elegantly put, invertebrates’ excrement.

Invertebrates = An animal, such as an insect or mollusk, that lacks a backbone or spinal column (just like its new owner, who occasionally was hiding in women’s clothing).

Entelechy on August 15, 2006 at 6:31 PM

Allah, that “Hate Couture” was very clever!

They say that it is a myth that bin Laden is so tall – now the claim is that he’s only 6.0 feet. Maybe, now that we know he’s wearing women’s clothing, we’ll find him easier, if the worms haven’t eaten him yet.

Entelechy on August 15, 2006 at 7:36 PM

Just put a whistle in his mouth and it looks just like my old lady gym teacher from grade school. Gives me the shivers.

Well, her hat was different.

I reported earlier I had a conversation with a black burka at my big lot store I am sure was a man. First, ‘she’ opened a conversation with me, in a totally male voice.

Never never do they talk to us. We are just scenery to them, not real. They act contaminated if they bump us.

Second, it was a weird political statement about the store’s greedy owners.

I consider burkas to be bomb cloaking devices. I am tired of the game that we have to respect the burka, but they get to hide terrorists, and bombs under the burka.

Baloney. Down with burkas. Ban them in public places for public safety. Definitely ban them on planes.

If that doesn’t suit you, go back to burka-land.

entagor on August 15, 2006 at 8:15 PM

I think this tradition has been passed down from pedophilic mohammed(pissbeonhim) as he probably wore womens clothing so as to get closer to his victims.

shooter on August 15, 2006 at 8:16 PM

Oh c’mon…. the burqas make the women special, and Sharia law, by forcing them to wear them, is just highlighting how saaacred and speciaaaal the women are to the culture. It’s an honor! /liberal off

Seriously though, I was going to wear a black mesh sheet over myself with blinking lights on a waistband underneath for an annual Halloween party…what do you think? Distasteful? Funny? Will I win the costume contest or offend or get beheaded?

NTWR on August 15, 2006 at 8:16 PM

entagor, we were posting at the same time. Yep, they are definetly covert bomb-hiding weapons. They’ve been planning it so long…and now that they want the whole face covered, not just the head, it’s easier to stick their man-bombs underneath. BAN THE BURQA.

NTWR on August 15, 2006 at 8:20 PM

When you passed Ga Tech on the downtown connector on your way to the game, you passed the mosque.

Oddly enough, I thought that was some Ga Tech structure. That’s a big-assed mosque!

Kid from Brooklyn on August 15, 2006 at 8:46 PM

The burqa is your friend, as is the sequestering of muslim women indoors. Both cause ill health due to vitamin D deficiency, especially at European and North American latitudes, where it’s hard to get enough vitamin D even in a Speedo. Check the Vitamin D Council’s website; it may take you a few days to get over the stun.

How come we can ban porn-ography in public places but we can’t ban murder-ography in public places?

When I lived in Amsterdam in 1980 the red light district was always packed with Middle Eastern men. Packed. It was their getaway.

They’re all a buncha friggin’ phonies. My A.F. Bro-in-law was stationed in S.A. and said they have these “tobacco shops” that do indeed sell tobacco in the front of the store, but in the back of the store, they sell the services of little boys. He stormed outta there ready to puke. The cab driver told him “Making love to a woman is a chore and is only for making babies, but making love to a man is true pleasure”. And they call *US* perverted? They hate us because we’re not like them. That’s cool, they can hate me all they want, I’ll stay with my perverted love-making with women, thanks. By the way, my Bro-in-law was in the Khobar Towers when it was bombed by muslims who have sex with little boys in the back rooms of tobacco shops because we don’t have sex with little boys in the back rooms of tobacco shops and therefore we are perverted. Thank God (the real one, not the satanic false god of islam) he was on the other side of the building and not injured, but 19 of my A.F. brothers died at the hands of islamic terrorists from Iran and yet Iran still doesn’t glow at night because Klinton did nothing about it.

Yeah… and eat all that delicious Southern pork barbecue :)

Just kidding… they don’t seem to go for the pork

The one obstacle I see – hopefully it can be worked around – is their doctrine of “all’s fair in love and war” where Muslims are pre-approved for all kinds of kufr-style bacchanalia as long their excuse is “blending in with the savages” while preparing for their jihad martyrdom.

Maybe the message could somehow also be conveyed that this tacky and immoral behavior is NOT helping the jihadists “blend in” because it’s only a minority of jerks within our own society that routinely behave like that anyhow, a subculture if you will, and in that subculture, they stick out like sore thumbs because they take it to extremes that most kufrs never would.

Something like, “see those two Muslim-looking guys over there going for the 18th, 19th, 20th lap dance, asking the girl to hook on the side, talking and acting rude the way no kufr would act – they MUST be Muslim jihadis! Alert the F.B.I…”

It may not be 100% true but if THAT story got around the Middle East…

Oh I’m a terrorist and I’m OK,
I sleep all night and I work all day.
I hijack planes,
I wear high heels, suspenders and a bra.
I wish I’d been a martyr,
Just like my dear papa.

This isn’t new:
(From a May, 2005 story)Witnesses described yesterday how armed undercover agents in burkas ambushed al-Libbi on Monday as he rode pillion on a motorcycle through a graveyard. Al-Libbi, who was disguised as a woman, shot at his pursuers.

WTF??

I wonder how widespread this is – is it a Saudi problem, an Arab problem, or a Muslim problem. For example… are they pimping the “tobacco” in:

Egypt?
Iraq?
Iran?
Pakistan?
Kazakhstan?
Nigeria?
Indonesia?
Turkey?

Illegal in Saudi Arabia

Homosexuality is illegal in conservative Saudi Arabia, which metes out strict punishments based on sharia, or Islamic law.
