Video: Dean Sez To “Help This Country”, “Limit Republican Power”

posted at 4:06 pm on August 14, 2006 by Ian

Howard Dean joined guest host David Gregory on Sunday’s edition of Meet the Press. To his credit, Gregory did ask some hard hitting questions and didn’t let Dean off easy when he would spin a response. When asked for a plan in Iraq, Dean went on a blame-Bush rant instead of answering the question. Dean made it clear the reason Lieberman lost is because he “embraced President Bush”; bipartisanship is a big no-no in the Democratic Party. There are a few more Deanisms in this highlight clip of yesterday’s appearance; follow along with the title cards.

No offense Ian, but traitorous bipartisanship isn’t gonna get a lot of Repubs re-elected either. McCain, Frist, Kay Bailey Hutchison…all Sens. I would like to see out of a job.

The Uber Left has only one solution: everybody pick up your jar of vaseline and grab your ankles, period. The bearuacracy created by the Left in this country with their PC rules, multiculturism, everyone is equal (exactly the same) and they need lots of handouts from the government, has created total ineptitude. It will take as much time to undo the damage as it took to create it…30+ years. Dean is a joke plain and simple and the people who follow him are so far off the mark of decency, morality and responsibility that all you have to do is read the comment pages on left blogosphere. Their comments and sentiments make it painfully clear we are dealing with deranged people.

Haha Ian I loved your commentary on there. There’s no need for us to be trying to come up with good arguments against these nitwits… they’re OWN WORDS convict them!

With Howlin’ Howie at their helm, the donkey party has recognized that it needed to make a change from it’s 2004 unofficial moniker: the “We Hate Republicans!” party.

Now, they’re the “We Really Hate Republicans!!” party.

That’s what passes for “fresh thinking” among the American political left these days.

Spurius Ligustinus on August 14, 2006 at 4:31 PM

If the Democrats had gotten behind the troops 100%, we would be out of Iraq right now. They have fought and whined and bitched like little school yard sissies even about Afghanistan..and Bin laden and the terrorist see what is happening. His own words are that America was a “Paper Tiger” and if you hit them, they will lose their will… (Well the Democowards never had any will to begin with). Bin laden knows he doesn’t have to win in Afghanistan or Iraq..he has to Win in Washington..and the Al-Qaeda party is helping him, by pushing their “Cut, Run, Wet ther Pants and Surrender” mentality.

McCain, Frist, Kay Bailey Hutchison…all Sens. I would like to see out of a job.

I can understand McCain and Frist, but why Hutchison??

pullingmyhairout on August 14, 2006 at 4:32 PM

Whatever happened to working together to get things done for the good of the country?

Catie96706 on August 14, 2006 at 4:36 PM

After watch this video, all I can think about is “Max Headroom”.

If anyone remembers ol’ Max.

“If the Democrats had gotten behind the troops 100%, we would be out of Iraq right now.”

Absolutely undeniable.

Okay, when there, looked under “Jobs”.

The “platform” is, basically, let’s be like the French.

How original… NOT!

Quote from the web page about jobs: While we think the French method of increasing employment while at the same
time providing its citizens additional time for family is ground breaking, we believe we can improve on it.

LoL… they believe they can “Improve” on the disastrously failing French model.

They also say: “Since many Americans work 60 hour weeks, we propose reducing the so called “40 hour work week” to 30 hours per week, ENSURING that employers will need to double their workforce to make up for all of those workers they’ve been forcing to work 60 hours/week. Because of the new demand for additional workers, our unemployment rate will naturally fall to near zero!”

This is definitely Liberal il-logic.

That still shot of Dean up top … he looks kinda like a beaver or something the way his teeth are showing. Maybe a drunk beaver, or a weasel on acid.

darwin on August 14, 2006 at 5:24 PM

Yes lets be more like the fwench and wet our panties the minute a muslim says boo!

Good idea, dhimmicrats.

darwin on August 14, 2006 at 5:24 PM

Or a drunk “Max Headroom”…
;)

Am I dating myself by mentioning ol’ Max?

Lawrence on August 14, 2006 at 5:28 PM

I’m all for limiting Republican power, after we eradicate all traces of Democrat power.

Perchant on August 14, 2006 at 5:30 PM

Lawrence,

I think that the site is intended to be a joke. But one that is too close to reality. Since I’ve never really heard a solid platform from the left, I was really wondering if this IS what they believe.

The much quoted Golda Mair said “when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us”…we’ll have peace…

The BDS’d Left hates Bush more than it loves its country. It’s that simple and that sick!

GoDemocrat 2006 is a SATIRE site.

While reading it, I had the feeling that the satire is actually too subtle for its intended purpose.

Apparently, that feeling is correct.

LegendHasIt on August 14, 2006 at 5:38 PM

“GoDemocrat 2006 is a SATIRE site.

Yes, in fact so subtle I think most dems would even buy what it says. I think it’s pretty well done.

darwin on August 14, 2006 at 5:46 PM

Other than standing behind his vote for the war, which Dean said is within the bounds of reason, what other way does he believe that Joe embraced the President????

BrunoMitchell on August 14, 2006 at 5:57 PM

Why is it that when I think of Dean, I can’t get the word “douche” out of my head for at least a week?

yo on August 14, 2006 at 6:35 PM

Now see what happens when Howie gets the keys to the pharmacy?

mcgilvra on August 14, 2006 at 6:48 PM

Those pictures linked at the Go Democrat website are the scariest ones I’ve seen from the anti-Israel/anti-war/anti-everything we stand for crowd.

Rick on August 14, 2006 at 7:00 PM

darwin,

Yeah, this is not the most attractive “beaver shot” I’ve ever seen.

mikeyboss on August 14, 2006 at 7:37 PM

On the Max Headroom angle, I think I understand where you are comming from, but Max would be better used as a jump-in on the Hezbollah ‘news’ reports. The insane wit of the character would be perfect in exposing the rarity of honest news reporting.

Howie might have the look, but he is more of an anti-Max since he prefers to bury the truth.

Max would be perfect for a DNC video ad as reported by the Right.

DannoJyd on August 14, 2006 at 7:44 PM

There is plenty of room for different opinions within the Democratic Party? HA! Not according to Kos and the rest of the nutroots gang. And not according to Howard Dean either. Just ask his former liason to the gay community, whom he fired.

Howard Dean: bad for America, good for the RNC

Bellicose Muse on August 14, 2006 at 7:54 PM

I was really wondering if this IS what they believe.

Fogpig on August 14, 2006 at 5:30 PM

For many of the Liberals I know it very much is.

The site may be intended as satire, but the best satire is based on truth.

Lawrence on August 14, 2006 at 9:51 PM

Aren’t these the same people who have been crowing about the nobility of “dissent” for the past five years?

It appears that some dissent is more noble than others.

“Wait’ll they get a load o’ me!”

Paul Atreides on August 14, 2006 at 10:40 PM

Just like the Mullahs are a sad reflection of the Islamic people, Howard Dean is a sad reflection of the American people. We have millions of citizens that think Dean is absolutely correct. In addition, they want to make millions of Illegals citizens. Have you seen the population numbers out today? It is crystal clear to me the left wing dems are treasonous and doing the work of the Islamic Mullahs trying to ruin America.

But, I’m afraid it is too late to turn things around. Yes Bush has been dealt an ugly hand, but as a conservative Bush supporter, I see the world turning for the worse under his watch. But I don’t blame him. Just think how much worse things would be under Dean. Sell out, cave in, and subscribe to Jimmy Carter malaise. Even Reagan would have a tough time these days.
