Moore warns Democrats: Hate Bush, oppose war, or be removed from office

Michael Moore, yeah he’s still around, wrote a threatening message to those who believe in fighting terrorism to stop or they will be removed from office:
Let the resounding defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman send a cold shiver down the spine of every Democrat who supported the invasion of Iraq and who continues to support, in any way, this senseless, immoral, unwinnable (ed. note: And remarks like these help us win?) war. Make no mistake about it: We, the majority of Americans, want this war ended — and we will actively work to defeat each and every one of you who does not support an immediate end to this war.
### I’m here to tell you that you will never make it through the Democratic primaries unless you start now by strongly opposing the war. It is your only hope.
### To every Democratic Senator and Congressman who continues to back Bush’s War, allow me to inform you that your days in elective office are now numbered. Myself and tens of millions of citizens are going to work hard to actively remove you from any position of power.
I never though I’d say this, but Pat Caddell was right:
CADDELL: I think if he loses, you’re going to empower what I call the real fringe of this Party, who believe that they’ve been right all along and they’re going to start setting litmus tests for everybody.

That’s a super, double-secret stupid thing to say. I wonder if he believes it.

Wow! Now there’s a cunning plan, except for one small flaw. Other voters besides democrats are allowed to vote in the general election.
Mr. Moore should institute a program that reviews all candidates and certifies those that meet his standards as “Kos tested, and Moore approved.” He could even have a nice ad campaign with a catchy jingle (“Look for the Moonbat Label”) to promote the program.
rw on August 9, 2006 at 6:01 AM
That’s … Perfect.
Axe on August 9, 2006 at 6:09 AM
Well. No secret now. The velvet glove is off, thanks to Michael Moore.
You are correct, Ian. Caddell called it — the Brownshirts feel themselves to be empowered. And it remains to be seen if the “moderate adults” in the party can survive
To you moderate Democrats out there, here is your new party anthem:
If you don’t understand the signifigance of the song, just ask.

I wish there was somewhere else to put these idiots. Honestly — they are the most ungrateful thugs imaginable. I cannot even fathom living in this great nation and not thanking God everyday that our soldiers make it possible to live under such freedom. The Moore pigs take advantage of the freedoms and then spit in the face of our soldiers. They make me sick. By the way, has anyone broke it to them that the election they just won is called a primary? Lots of people have won at this level and still never seen the inside of the Senate chamber.
wytammic on August 9, 2006 at 7:42 AM
If Lamont wants any hope in the general, he’ll be forced to abandon the insane left, who will then turn on him and destroy his chances, along with theirs.
It will be fun to watch the implosion.
JammieWearingFool on August 9, 2006 at 8:13 AM
Anyone running against the nutroots should add that tagline to their opponants adverts. That will scare the 100 million americans who think Moore is a socialist lying prick into voting against the nutroot candidate.
Wyrd on August 9, 2006 at 8:20 AM
MM is the wolf in sheeps clothing!
Remmeber this: Micheal Moore
And this: Michael Moore holds court Wednesday outside the Uptown Theater in Washington, D.C.
They invited him and the nutroots in ………
They are very hungry

Shall Mr. Lieberman now expect to find a donkey’s head in his bed? Those threats, and I cannot characterize Moore’s statements as anything else, do send a chill down the spine. I have seen the enemy and it weighs nearly 400 lbs.
The good news is that they are fragmenting and destroying the Dem Party. Sensible D’s will either obstain from voting or will actually cross over to the more resonable side. Way to go, MooreOn.org
pistolero on August 9, 2006 at 8:36 AM
When the party of the Democrats throw away a good and honorable man like Lieberman they only confirm their rabid, leftist insanity.
rplat on August 9, 2006 at 9:00 AM
Since it was Michael Moore making the threat, Lieberman can expect to find a head of cheese in his bed.
pjcomix on August 9, 2006 at 9:48 AM
The left wing lunatics sure are confident aren’t they. I wonder if they realize it’s freakin Connecticut and only a primary? I guess ignoring the fact McKinney was tossed out of Georgia helps their delusions.
Capitalist Infidel on August 9, 2006 at 9:51 AM
I saw a great line earlier today: The first scalp claimed by the nutroots was a Democrat.
I believe Lieberman will win as an independent, and in the end, Kos and Co. will end up costing the Dems a Senate seat. They seem to forget that this was a primary, and that it won’t be just Democrats voting in the general election. I believe the Kos crowd have overplayed their hand, winning the battle and losing the war.
I’m waiting for the MSM to portray Kos as a key political figure, capable of guiding his candidate of choice to victory, all the while conveniently forgetting to mention the 20 previous canidates he endorsed that lost.
Oh, and by the way, Michael Moore probably won’t read this, but if he does, let me assure him that he does not speak for the majority of Americans.
schlagerman on August 9, 2006 at 9:52 AM
Am I the only one that thinks that everyone should just shut up about the looney left, excuse me, I mean the Democrat Party? Don’t give them any help or advice, let
them self-destruct on their own.
Jeff on August 9, 2006 at 9:58 AM
Michael Moore weighs in? Now thats a scary thought in other ways. Leiberman is more likely to find a head of lettuce in his bed.
Seriously though, I think Hillary is no angel in all this Leiberman business. Watch her good.
johnnyU on August 9, 2006 at 9:59 AM
Funny how the left always chastizes the right for having litmus tests (abortion), yet the right has any number of pro-choice politicians (Rudi, Condi, Arnold) welcome in its ranks. However, for the left there is no deviation allowed, not even for the War on Terror. They have to toe the line – the security of the United States be damned.
Ellen on August 9, 2006 at 10:06 AM
There is no fear of the Kossacks taking any advice from inferior conservatives. They are far too intelligent, sophisticated and arrogant to take any clues from anybody. Not even Democrat consultants like Bob Beckel and Susan Estrich.
pistolero on August 9, 2006 at 10:10 AM
It really is hard to believe there are so many gullable Americans that lap this stuff up. Can you imagine what a trainwreck this country would be with these like minded nuts in charge? Complete weenies through and through.
Everyone would have their way with us from all angles and all ways.
Surely the American mainstream is smarter than that. Lets hope !!
Shmo on August 9, 2006 at 10:16 AM
Reagan Presided over the death of the Soviet Union. Is Bush now presiding over the death of the Democratic Party or yore? Now it will be Republicans, Moonbats and Independents that used to be Democrats.
BelchSpeak on August 9, 2006 at 10:30 AM
Ah, the kiss on the Senate floor…..ol Judas Bush planted a whopper right on the cheek……..nailed him!!!
The same judas kiss he placed on the true Reagan conservatives….while stabbing us in the back.
Im glad the demo communist won….lets get it on and have a real debate that exposes the communists, socialists and the rino repubs like Bush, Limbaugh, Frist, Rove,…who are really 70’s democrats. You can’t tout Bush and claim to be a Reagan Conservative!!!!!!!!!!!
LZVandy on August 9, 2006 at 10:36 AM
The “cut and run” Dems have been bring up Viet Nam for several years now. With the win by Lamont, can we start to talk about McGovern?
Mallard T. Drake on August 9, 2006 at 10:42 AM
Time to picture the seating at the 2008 Dem Convention.
Seated next to Jimmy Carter; Michael Moore and Osama Bin Laden.
fogw on August 9, 2006 at 10:46 AM
It really is too bad that Lieberman doesn’t yet comprehend that he is a man without a party, that what he THINKS is his party has left him in the dust of their radical Bush hating terrorist capitulating anti-American agenda.
Moore understands it, regular Democrats don’t get it, YET.
NRA4Freedom on August 9, 2006 at 11:02 AM
One of my favorite sayings is that ‘one should never underestimate the stupidity of people’. For example, the German citizens were stupid enough to permit the National Socialists (Nazis) to achieve political power and the rest is history and the ultimate destruction of Germany and much of the rest of the world. So the citizens in this country with the obvious help of the media could be stupid enough to let the leftist achieve power in Congress and the presidency and that event could easily spell disaster for our nation.
docdave on August 9, 2006 at 11:11 AM
The democratic Party is supposed to be the party of toleration and inclusion. It seems they include and tolerate only those that tow the party and do the bidding of the extreme left.
Leiberman will win in November, and no matter that he calls himself an Independent Democrat, the party will still have one less “D” and their dream of taking back control of the Senate seems to be fading. I suspect we may see a few more Independents there in the future.
Umnumzana on August 9, 2006 at 11:15 AM
Who does this idiot think he’s speaking for?
“WE, the majority of Americans”…
ELECTED GEORGE W. BUSH.
TWICE.
Predictions on the Lieberman/Lamont race? Democratic votes split between far-left Democrats and moderate Democrats… and a Republican win.
redwolf on August 9, 2006 at 11:20 AM
What are these moonbats going to do when they lose in November? It seems like every time they lose an election, they become more and more “unhinged.” Moderates and Independents have to be looking at these leftists (Dean, McKinney, Moore, Soros, etc.) in disbelief.
Rick on August 9, 2006 at 11:48 AM
I’m hopeful that Lieberman running as an independent against Lamont and a Republican will ensure a GOP victory. Lieberman should take plenty of votes from Lamont as an independent. redwolf says it better but I just wanted to echo his correctness. :)
Psycotte on August 9, 2006 at 12:15 PM
does anyone remember this & This? ….really funny
noodlehead on August 9, 2006 at 12:18 PM
I saw that line… and he WAS right, Ian. Hey, even a broken clock is right twice a day. And he seems moderate enough that he might even be right slightly more than that… maybe three times a day… ;)
But I think that the short term result of this is going to be even more self-destruction for the dhimmicrats. Which is a good thing. They may rebound later, but right now they desperately need to be removed from ANY form of power whatsoever. Maybe after a decade or two of supermajorities for the Republicans it will be safe to let them back. That might be enough time to fix all the stuff they spent the last 90 years breaking.

Pistolero, 400 lbs is not very nimble :)
Peggy Noonan got her wished-for 3rd party. Mr. Lieberman will be under enormous pressure from the Left to drop his bid and will be supported subtly from the Right. He has to play this extremely carefully, so as to insure a win in Nov. “It’s the independents, stupid” – because they are the majority in Connecticut and because many will vote with Ned Lamont.
The Republican (Mr. Schlesinger) will not win in Nov. because he has skeletons in the closet and investigations are going on. However, the conservatives might throw their support to Mr. Lieberman, who then in Dec. will be offered a significant chairmanship and change parties altogether. This should be easy, considering how the leeches abandoned him. Schlagerman and Umnumzana, you both summed it up good – they will lose a seat, one way or another. Even if Mr. Schelsinger stays, the conservatives will vote for Mr. Lieberman in droves.
JohnnyU has it right – one of the biggest blood-suckers is Hillary. Bill Clinton supported Mr. Lieberman, to play both ends and because he likes him. Hillary was a snake, so was Reid, Schumer, Kerry, Boxer, Lautenberg, and others. They will regret this but it will be too late. Another really bad one was Al Gore for not supporting his hand-chosen running mate. He’s still mad that Mr. Lieberman ran on his own later (and in background might have told Al to give up the spectacle in the fall of 2000, for the sake of the country).
Jeff, fear not – they are not prone to take our advice – however, we need to enlighten the “stupid” masses docdave talks about. Yes, the naiveté of the masses is rampant (see American Idol frenzy at a time like this) – the only hope we have is that they are not self-destructive. So much going on in the world – people first and instinctively assure their survival and then they worry about their welfare. That’s what the conservatives have going for them, in spite of the objectively addressed issues by LZVandy.
Entelechy on August 9, 2006 at 12:59 PM
Shmo, you forget that fifty-nine million people voted for Kerry.
ScottG on August 9, 2006 at 1:46 PM
Yeah but only once, the democrats can vote as many times as they like. Even posthumously.
spacemonkey on August 9, 2006 at 2:20 PM
The sad thing is that Bush and Libermann agree on so much.
The Kiss.
A third party candidate in the general………could never be the liberal Liebermann…..
WE need Kurt Weldon, or Jeff Sessions, Steve King……but of course Bush would…… never kiss them…….lol
He’s too busy taking orders from Laura…….ie. Harriett Myers

Randy warns Moore: Hate trans fats, oppose carbs, or be removed from your house…. on a forklift…. like that guy on one of those talkshows a few years ago.

Dammit Redwolf! You stole my post almost word for word … BEFORE I posted it! :-)
The more these idiots talk, the better we do in the next election. Split the demonrats and watch the Pubbies win. If they were the majority, John Kerry would be president and we’d be fighting a “more sensitive” war on terror.
They can’t be trusted with national security!
