I think now we can have a better idea of how the world ignored the passage of the Nuremburg Laws and Kristallnacht. The Nazi atrocities happened in part because people weren’t paying attention. We wondered later, “Why didn’t we know? He put it all in Mein Kampf.” Today’s fascists are telling us their goals.

I am also concerned about casting the evil of anti-semitism as a neurosis. You can go to a clinic to get treatment for alcoholism. But anti-semitism is not based on a chemical imbalance. If we allow this we need to understand that the state could allow treatment for our opinions.

Off topic for a moment, we would not accept a cease fire in our war on terror. Why should we expect Israel to give Hezballah breathing room? Oh, I forgot…there are people on the left that want a cease fire in the war.

I KNOW SOMETHING’S UP NOW! THEY REMOVED THE PHOTO! Michelle please use you’re knowledge of sites that cache websites like USA today’s and find the old version of the page. It’s got to be fake.

I have a copy of the photo if you need it. Why is the picture gone? Why the change? I bet the folks at USA Today are reading these posts.

There is some truth to this, but some specious reasoning as well. One thing that is for certain: there are ebbs and flows in politics. Dems are in, Dems are out, Dems are in…..The only question is the timing. The Democrats are pretty much a mess at this point; therefore, the Republicans hold their own fate in their hands–either they bite the bullet and throw Bush under the bus or hold their nose and stay the course. The latter would be a big mistake IMO, time will tell.
