Great VDH article. It should be required reading.

Once in Chile I was intimidated by a hot Israeli babe who had just finished her IDF time. We were hiking up a volcano and, being competitive, I really wanted to beat her to the top. I was disappointed when she stopped at the FIRST leg, crying, and gave up. Hopefully the other gals are more tough than that.
