Breaking: IAF defies Nasrallah with new airstrikes on Beirut

Just across on CNN and Fox. They’re calling Nasrallah’s bluff. If he doesn’t follow through, his credibility will shot. And if he does follow through, hoo boy.

Things might be about to get hairy. Click the image below and enjoy the “Taxi Driver” remix while you still can.

Update: Olmert asks the impossible.

From Allahpundits link:

Mr Olmert’s demands came on the same day Hezbollah fired a record 215 rockets across the border, mocking his earlier claim that the Israeli military had destroyed the militant group’s infrastructure during three weeks of fighting.

You know Allahpundit, I hope you’re right that its a bluff, but somehow, I don’t believe it is, anymore than I believe that Nasrallah’s credibility is “on the line”, at least not in Lebanon, Syria or Iran. And of course, they would be the only places his credibility would be worth anything. God know Condi didn’t extend him the courtesy of recognizing any.

Co-chairing the summit were US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D’Alema. Sixteen countries were in Rome to attend the Middle East summit, which excluded representatives from Syria, Iran and Hezbollah.

Seems to me that all of the belligerents should be assembled if we were to aid in brokering a peace. This thing is quickly spiralling out of control.

He might be able to muster up some bomber looking for the fast-track to Hell, but I’ll be anyone twenty five cents that no missile lands in Tel-Aviv.

Olmert is saying it so many ways on what President Bush said, “Bring it on!”
