The Allied paratroops were, as has been noted, there to attack enemy troops. They were also uniformed members of the military forces of the Allies. They were also acting during a declared war between nations.

The Hezbollah terrorists are targeting civilians. Also, they are not:

Uniformed
Members of a recognised military force
Acting on behalf of a nation/government
Participating in a declared war

That Peck seems to be unable to make the distinction indicates that his grasp on reality is tenuous, at best.

I really don’t get them are they politcal hacks? or just plain vanilla dumb?

Peck and Dingle should submit urine samples BEFORE being allowed to give interviews.

Green helmet’s parade of the girl bothers me the most. I’d like somebody to explain that sequence of events. Various pictures show him carrying her out of the wreckage, laying her on a gurney wearing, carrying her down the street with no wreckage in site, and then standing holding her on the back of an ambulance. Particularly interesting is that his helmet and vest have disappeared along the way. How many times did he pick her up? Very suspicious at best.

Propaganda is generally a handy tool for liars and thus by Islamists. All’mad’in’jihad, Ass’ed, N’ass her’Allah are heavily relying on it at this time. But propaganda will always be exposed for what they are. Remember Baghdad Bob?

Dingell and Peck are of course mouthpieces of Islamist propaganda.

The whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth as I imagine it does to the IDF. I think we should send some breath mints to the IDF too while they remove our common enemy.

The paratroopers were there to kill (or capture) german soldiers – a legitimate military target. Hizbollah deliberately targets (to *kill*) civilians. There is a difference.

Oh, and one correction, and Hizbollah is not considered a terrorist organization because Hiz is ‘against’ us. Its because they deliberately target and kill innocent civilians. Because they use human shields.

Imperial Japan was against us in WWII – but not considered a terrorist organization (they did not deliberate target civilians as a matter of policy). The communist of North Vietnam were against us – but not considered a terrorist organzation (they did not target civilians as a matter of policy either – at least I dont think so).

He is getting to be more and more of a talking skull every year. His offspring are being groomed to replace him.

Years ago I attended a meeting of Perot supporters, mostly seniors. They brought in Dingell to talk. One elder complained that immigrants are coming in and collecting SSI (Supplemental Security Income). Another senior complained he would have done better if he could have kept his money out of Social Security.

Dingell launched into him like a crankcase. He said Social Security was never meant to be a retirement plan. At that the whole crowd of grey hairs went wild, shaking their fists at him. It was unreal. Someone video taped it, but when we later asked for a copy, they avoided us.

Check the arab community links on page one of his web site. Interesting that he tags ‘Arab’ instead of ‘Muslim’

First; watch Dingell and notice that he’s talking out of one side of his mouth. (I wonder if he saves the other side for legislative use.)

As for Peck; I think he needs to be introduced to a little concept called “reality”. I know it’s not popular among him and his buddies, but maybe he should try it before opening his mouth in public again. He sure didn’t have that part of his brain attached during this interview.

As for the Vent:

1) “I don’t take sides?” Whafu? Huzzat? Huh? Well, isn’t that special? The next time some tinpot dictatorship invades Frances, let’s just say “we don’t take sides.” That would make me smile. After all, everyone is morally equal, right?

2) Can we all just agree that anyone with “Carter administration” on their resume isn’t worth interviewing? And, uh, did this guy really just compare Hezbollah nutballs blowing up pizza parlors to Special Forces troops dropped into occupied France? Oh no he didn’t … did he? C’mon.

3) Terror is in the eye of the beholder? So … is that going to be on Democrat bumper stickers this fall? Ay, caramba.
